Item is exactly as described. Well packaged. Assembly is required before use, but the directions were easy enough to follow. I only wish they weren't so expensive.

I'm happy with the Torklift FastGun Turnbuckles's. They arrived in good condition with all the needed as parts.The instructions are a little vague but I found some helpful videos at the Torklift website which made the adjustment easy. This is my first experience using turnbuckles to secure a truck camper so I wanted to make sure I had them set up correctly. So far, they have worked well keeping the camper secure and in place for over 2,000 miles!

Easy set up and very heavy duty. Most likely your camper will shift around a bit as you drive so it's a good idea to check the tension occasionally and definitely every time you drop the camper.

This is the easiest way to secure your truck camper! Pretty much once & done, really don’t have to tighten like the old turnbuckles. Very impressed!

I have had the FastGuns for little over a year. I adjust them once a year (takes me about 1-2 minutes per turnbuckle). From that point on, it's attach (put the hook in the eye) and latch (pull the lever down). A consistent tension is maintained by an internal spring. Any time I make a stop during my trip, a quick glance at the turnbuckle tells me whether or not I need to adjust the tension (I never have had to make an adjustment). This is a first class product.

Two of four failed after 15 months. Maybe can’t handle real travel/ serious users. Just bought two replacements. Horrible assembly instructions. Hard to tell if they will hold up. Sure do hope so bc I do like the simplicity if they work and hold. Kinda disappointed and concerned about quality
