Shapeez Tankee Short: Back-Smoothing Bra Ultra-Comfortable Cami-Style Underwire Foam-Cup

I have a very difficult time finding a comfortable bra, and if I do, it's usually one that I can't wear a V-neckshirt with and has four hooks in the back and still doesn't smooth out the back fat. This bra solved all those issues AND is comfortable. I ordered the wrong size at first and it kinda worked, but not really. I was disappointed, so I was planning to send it back for a refund. I was reading the instructions that came with the bra on how to do a return, and it also gave the instructions on how to get measurements for the bra correctly. I had not done that when I ordered it from Amazon originally. The instructions are there, so follow them before you order. It's not the typical way to measure for a bra, so do what it says. I reordered the correct size with help from Staci at Shapeez. She was super helpful and she actually returned my emails quickly and helped me choose a better size. I got the bra today. YAY! It is the BEST! Right now it is the first and only bra that has fit my criteria that I need in a bra. Yes, it's expensive, but it's worth it!

I love this bra so much!!! I’ve been looking for an underwire with a smooth silhouette forever and this is it! I am usually a C cup, but sometimes they’re a bit roomy. I took a chance and sized up to the C and sized down on the width to get a snug ‘body shaping’ affect. It’s perfect! The back of my cardigan sweaters and T-shirts are completely smooth over the bra and I completely filled the cup. DO NOT size down on the cup if you’re uncertain.The cups are pretty firm. You will ONLY be the formed shape of this cup, so you either like it or you don’t. It is slightly pointier than I would like, but that’s okay.On a side note, I have not noticed squeaking as other reviews have mentioned. I suppose that depends on your size and how much the ladies move as you walk. Also, there is a card that specifically states to NOT wear deodorant or perfumes while trying it on or they will not issue a refund. So that’s completely on the customer. They were warned.I do wish the shoulder straps were wider and that the bra came in white. But I will definitely splurge for another!

I bought this bra in hopes it would save me paying double for the bra I normally purchase at Victoria's secret. However, the bra still has, or at least feels like it has an underwire. The outer edge of the underwater pokes at your side. The stretchy back is a nice material but because of the underwire it is annoying to put on. Because it was on the pricier end of bras I tried to accept I could see passed these things. So I cut off the tag and put it in my drawer. Still opted for sports bras for the next week or so. Then pulled it out one day, put it on and got ready. But before I could leave the house I came to the conclusion there is no way I can wear this bra all day. So I opted to return it for a refund (still unworn for longer then 30 min). Much to my surprise the seller requires the item to still have the origional tag attached and it's origional packaging. And only does returns through UPS. So.... I will not be getting a refund. Now I gave a 60+ bra that gets to sit pretty in my drawer. And still have no bras. I may not get my money back but the least I can do is help someone not even bother with this headache. Save yourself the hassle and money.

Sorta of a struggle to put on and take off, but worth the nuisance.

It’s clear how I use this product! I have been wearing this bra exclusively for four years. It fits snuggly and offers good support. I need some lift but do not want a push-up bra; this one offers the look I like. The design eliminates “back fat” lines while being notably comfortable. I need to replace it approximately every six months. I am 124 lbs and typically wear a small shirt. The small DD is a perfect fit!

A word about determining your size. This is the most crazy-assed way of measuring your upper body ever. FORGET the bra size you’ve been buying for the last decade. The Shapeez directions walk you through a measurement methodology that can only be compared to Pythagoras’s theorem combined with some Einsteinian laws of physics. A quick cross-check of Steven Hawking’s algorithms confirms the process: turns out we have all been imprecise with our centuries-old Industrial Revolution method of measuring boobage. You WILL need to pillage your drawers for a fabric tape measure, or, in my redneck sans-tape-measure version, a non-stretchy piece of string that I marked and then measured with a ruler. I love everything about this bra... invisible under clothing, EXCELLENT support of the girls, no back fat which is nothing short of a miracle, and COMPLETELY comfortable all day. This cannot be overstated; I no longer need to start getting out of my bra as I am unlocking my house at the end of the day. I have actually fallen asleep in it and slept through the night a few times. One caveat: I chucked this in with delicates and one of the wires came our so now I’m hand washing these. The price is obscene. I mean really, does it have magic golden threads sewn in by fairies? But as far as bras go, my all time favorite.

The bra squeaks at the ring part. Very noisy and embarrassing. Can’t return because I wore it. I bought one a few yrs ago, exact model and no squeak.

I’ve successfully bought this brand before and was hoping for a repeat experience. It is a super snug fit and not as stretchy as I would’ve expected for a bra that needs to be put on over the head. Fabric performance is poor. At this price point I expect performance. I followed the sizing carefully but it’s still ill fitting. Please bring back the Demi Short.
