Ah, Hungarian Salami
This is a salami I've been eating since childhood; it's slightly smoky, delicious, and needs to be sliced very thin. It's the best salami ever but I haven't been able to find it over here (in the US) until I discovered it on Amazon Fresh. How wonderful. Have been having it for lunch for the last few days.

Still one of the best Salamis on the planet.
The Pick salami is long known to be one of the best. Notb only one of the best Hungarian style salamis, but one of the best overall.I am writing this review because I somewhere saw that folks could be disappointed by the fact, that this salami continues to ripen and forms a peripheral ring of more greyish meat around a large center core of more reddish meat. This creates two "flavor zones" that, together, constitute the very essence of the greatness of this product (and of most other finely ground salamis). It is like eating a more ripened cheese. So, everyone, jubilate if you get one of the Picks that already has that peripheral ring, or store it a bit at home to give it time to develps that ring.

Amazing
Timely, easy deliveryAll the way from Hungary. A bright ray of sunshine here in Florida with no power on in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton. A Pick delivery. Crisp, fresh salami from Hungary. Thank you.

Be careful. Dried out and not returnable.
This pick was delivered April 9th 2024. It was made October 10th 2023.The package was torn and the salami was extremely hard and dry. Did not taste good at all.No returns allowed. They seem to be selling old stock.

Almost as good as the best I ever had
This is authentic Hungarian salami and as I said is almost as good as the best I ever had. Due to disruptions in supply chain, at this time this type of salami is hard to find, and in Canada where I am, has almost disappeared entirely. The one I received from this outfit was understandably already few months after it was produced but still had very good and authentic taste. Also, a faster delivery would be nice, but I understand that among other things, crossing the border takes a bit more time. Bottom line, I will still recommend it to anyone who like this type of dry salami and I will be buying again from this supplier.

The REAL deal, and the BEST DEAL.
I visited my family in Hungary in August 2018, and became addicted to the many different salamis they have there. Sadly, we have no ability to obtain the huge variety in America.BUT, if you HAD to choose ONLY ONE salami, Pick Brand Teliszalami (winter salami) is the best choice. And for the people who don't understand, the discoloration is normal. There is a 5 month shelf life on this stuff. Even longer if it's in the fridge.Vendor is 20 minutes from my home, no wonder I got it next day.Purchased my first one on September 16th, and I already have to order another.Best eaten sliced as thinly as you can manage, with some sliced tomatoes, sliced peppers, and cucumbers or pickles on the side, don't forget some good bread. It is very fatty, so it's best to eat it with other foods.

Little old and dry, but tastes better
Yes the log was a little on the dried and older side, but it tastes more like the Romanian sausages my wife grew up with than the Teli from the "B" brand. Not that it was a bad brand, definitely fresher, but didn't taste like the real Teli salami.
