Review after 2yrs. Back for a second
We purchased this chair May 2020, I’m back June 2022 for a second because my dogs have taken it over! You see, we taught them to use the chair as base for playing fetch. Now I need one for myself! This thingy is a pain to put together, but once it’s one piece you and your dogs will love it!

Couple flaws
This is a really nice chair. There were a couple flaws in the pontoons. In each pontoon there's a place to insert nuts for the bolts to fasten to, to hold the chair on. Qhen molding the pontoons, 2 of these holes weren't molded properly leaving a puncture into the pontoons and a place where water would leak in. I put the plugs in and covered with silicon. But I probably should have returned the chair given the price. Just be aware if you purchase.

Inferior product!
I purchased this lounge chair and it was impossible to assemble without modifications. First of all the color markings the instructions says is very important to make sure are on the same side of the parts are on wrong side according to the illustrations. Holes in the poles are not drilled straight and once they are assembled then the other holes to attached the floats are angled off. Some holes on the cross poles are not even drilled at all. I thought about drilling/re-drilling the holes myself (modifying) but decided if I did that I wouldn't be able to return it so I opted to just return the item. I asked for a refund because I had no confidence that a replacement of the same product would not be any better.

For $100, I expected more.
The first chair I bought had a popped pontoon. Unfortunately had to return and buy a second chair. Quick and easy process. Only added an extra 2 or 3 days.Second chair came and after reading more reviews, I decided to purchase a tube of Lexel caulk. It was 5.99 at Ace Hardware. When I installed the bolts into the pontoons I added the Lexel caulk to both the pontoon holes and also the threading of the self tapping screw holder thingy-mabobber (You'll know what I mean if you buy it). The directions themselves weren't too hard to follow, however the parts were not as described. Which made it a little difficult, but only for an extra couple of minutes to think about the steps made it come together in about 1.5 hours. The PVC is a small size tube and being in the summer heat (Arizona), I could see it being very brittle next year. For reference I'm 6'4" and 180 pounds.Pontoons do great once you are in the chair. They go under quite a bit when getting in, causing your cup holders to fill with water. However the back square cut out of the pontoon seems to never go under as it's still dry.My feet hang over about 4 inches from my ankles and none of my head fits on the back rest. The chair also has about 2 or 3 inches of fabric on either side of me.The chair also has no adjustments. Once you installed the bolts holding the chair to the pontoons the chair is locked in place. It is a comfortable position though. All in all, happy as I'm currently floating while writing this. For the money, I feel as if it could come a little more assembled and with proper directions.

Wife loves it
Put it together easily. Be careful to put the metal plugs in the pontoons straight in or you might tear a small hole. Has a drain plug which is nice if ever needed. Not sure why anyone wouldn't like this, it's sturdy and sits you comfortably in the water. Some people like to complain I guess.

Caveat Emptor
Not worth the price. Backrest is too short and the floats fill with water.
