Julbo Trail Sunglasses

The lenses are very large and don't darken enough for my needs. The quality of the product is top notch and this would have been my Second pair of Julbo, but it just wasn't my style. I instead went with Native Eyewear Dash XP Sunglasses.

Has the most adjustable nosepiece of any pair of sunglasses I have ever owned. Julbo makes it clear that the light transmission levels of the Zebra Light lenses is 16 - 80%. What this means is the lenses don't get extremely dark in strong sunlight. But it also means if you are riding at the end of the day when the sun starts to set the lenses won't get so dark that you can't see where you are going. I find these lenses to be just what I need to protect my eyes from strong sunlight and still be able to see when the sun starts to go down on the way home. These sunglasses also have very comfortable frames that hug your face without giving you that pinched feeling. And the more you perspire the grippier the nosepiece and earpieces become so they don't slide down your nose.

these are great sunglasses, but I think they are better for a man/person with a larger face/nose. otherwise excellent lightweight quality product.

Had it for a while now. Used it while running and cycling. Fogs easy. For the price, I would look else where

These glasses work perfectly. They fit my somewhat narrow face well and the nose piece is easy to adjust. The lenses change shades quickly. If you are only a roadie then they may not be dark enough for you, but for mountain biking and trail running they are awesome. Not polarized, but in my opinion I have better depth perception with these compared to my more expensive polarized Oakley. The only bad thing is the worthless hard case. I just keep them in the soft case. It looked like there were a few scratches when they arrived, but it was just build up of some sort and came off with some cleaner. I would highly recommend these!

I brough a Red Trail @ Amazon. First of all, once I open up the box, there's a hard scratch at the right lens already, seems that was cause by the case itself (there's a huge design problem for the Julbo-Case). And the 2nd problem, the funtion of the lens... didn't work at all, I wear it under the 35Z sunshine all day, it did turn darker, but it never turn dark enough to block the sunlight. For me, not worthy at this price.

While wearing these glasses, I often think "it's not bright enough to need sunglasses" - and then I immediately put them back on. I've worn them for everything from road bicycling to running to alpine mountaineering, and found them to be excellent in all conditions. Light, resilient, and the perfect darkness. They wouldn't be ideal for extended glacier travel but were just fine for short glacier crossings of 1-3 hours. You do look like a complete dork while wearing them, but it's worth it for the performance.

Clear enough for shady trails, however not dark enough when sunny in the open.

Da ich viel Laufsport betreibe, habe ich mir mal diese Brille gegönnt. Hier die wesentlichsten Vorteile gegenüber anderen Brillen:1...Perfekter Sitz, nichts rutscht oder wackelt, Nasenbügel merkt man kaum.2...Super leicht, ca. halbes Gewicht anderer Billen.3...Sicht ist 1A, nichts blendet oder so, Abdunkelung ist auch perfekt und nicht so stark wie bei anderen Brillen.4...Die Brille läuft nicht an, wenn man schwitzt, was bei mir bei allen anderen Brillen der Fall war.5...Nebensächlich: Extravagante Optik, man sieht, daß es eine besondere und nicht gerade billige Brille ist.Im Lieferumfang befindet sich auch ein schönes Leinen-Hardcover Etui, daß die Brille schützt und ein Bügel-Band.Ich benutze sie regelmässig und schon einige Zeit und würde mir für den Sport keine andere Brille mehr kaufen.Nur zu empfehlen!!!

Perfetti anche per il ciclismo. Confortevoli, velocita delle lenti fotocromatiche notevole, montatura e lenti flessibili! E resistenza a graffi e urti senza uguali: questo è il mio secondo paio, sul primo paio ci sono passate sopra due auto e nemmeno un graffio, li ho cambiati quattro anni dopo...

occhiali molto comodi, migliori di altri in mio possesso che ho potuto comparare.sono molto ben ventilati per cui nn si appannano

Perfect for outdoor! I bought the Julbo for trail running and I love them! No fogging! Very light! Nice fit! However they not very good for driving!
