I bought this to repair a carbon fiber spoiler with an aluminum hardware insert that had been damaged in a hit-and-run. After cleaning and preparing the carbon and aluminum I flooded the gaps with this epoxy and let it set up overnight. Seems to be working perfectly, you can't even tell the spoiler was hit except for the scuffs on the side. and so it does exactly what it promises.

This is the best overall adhesive though the website picture shows DP420NS which is the Non-Sag formula. I received DP420 which is totally different so make sure this is the right adhesive for your application.

3m consistently makes really good products. This epoxy is the best I've ever used. I've used it for about 16 years in my business. Having black is helpful, but the quality is great. TIP: Read the product application data. Good surface prep is important. Warm the repair it to 120F and hold it there. This speeds the cure rate, and drops the time need to cure to full strength from 24 hrs down to about an hour, and it's stronger too. When buying, check the manufacturing date and shelf life. There are vendors out there who shamelessly sell out of date product. (not with this order!) Out of date product may not work as well.Adding: 5/24 I received another tube today. The seller put their in stock label over the bottom of the product label, covering the date code etc. which is printed on the 3M label when the epoxy is made. Their label adhesive lifted the obliterated the date code when I tried to remove it. What's dumb is that they put the epoxy in a poly Ziplock bag before mailing it. Why didn't they put their stock label on the bag?

Also used for Keurig handle and knife handle repair. still have 90% left and looking for other broken stuff.

Requires an intentionally unique applicator to use. DO NOT BUY unless you want to pay $140-$250 for a $2 piece of plastic to use it. Total waste. Also cannot return even if unopened.

I needed to bond 38mm carbon fiber tubes to aluminum connectors. So I did a Google search for the best adhesive for this application and DP420 checked all the boxes. It has worked great. With the correct gun and applicators, it's extremely easy to use and the bond is incredible. This stuff is so convenient, that it's my favorite for most applications.I recommend the "CNBTR 50ml Dispenser Gun" (ASIN: B01D4681G6) and "Mixing Nozzles Adhesive Cartridges Tip for 50ml Resin Mixer Adhesive Applicatior 16-Element" (ASIN: B07Y1DGHZB). There is some contradictory information as to the correct dispenser for this epoxy. These work.
