This was purchased as a gift for christmas, and the recipient appeared happy with it.

This is a great puzzle to solve. The method is well within the grasp of most people, although requires concentration and rigorous application of logic. I initially bought it for a 9 year old nephew, but had a go myself just not to let him down by challenging him beyond his ability. I am certain it is an appropriate gift and it will boost his confidence if he applies himself and finds time to do it. Takes about 30 min.
