BEWARE, this is tiny print.
Beware that the print is tiny. I thought that the reviews were telling me that this was not tiny print. But they are wrong. It's barely readable tiny print. This is a wonderful book. I've read it 4 times. It is a pure shame that publishers all print this book in tiny print and make it so difficult to read.

Little Book, Big Impact In Fifty Pages Total
I love this book because it goes beyond thinking of nature as a collection of interesting and beautiful rocks, soils, land formations, water bodies, plants and animals. Absorbing his few but deeply thought out words can help readers to think of nature as the great educator, deep knowledge of which can change our lives and enhance our impacts on the world. I also love that Emerson accomplishes this in only 50 pages!

resonating words!!
emerson and thoreau both knew about striking a balance with nature. something that our society today is really out of touch with. yet it comes with every generation to discover the necessity of it, within themselves first, then into the world.the balance won't come any other way until our hearts are broken, and are more than willing to give up stuff that never really had any meaning in the bigger scheme of things. nature is in EVERYTHING, not only the forests, and is more nurturing than one can imagine.
