Excellent product
I purchased the Gilmore Spray Doc Sprayer Replacement Valve, after my Gilmore sprayer became clogged and broke. I received it quickly and in new condition. It was easy to install and works perfectly. With the replacement valve, I didn't have to purchase a new sprayer. Very good product and easy to install.

Replacement control valve
The replacement valve works as expected. I did have a difficult time getting it to fit on the hose of my pump and the slide on collar would not go over the hose as instructed even when the hose had been softened in hot water. However, I did force it on, and it has been working, spraying both weed killer and detergents used for washing the siding on my home. To ease installation one may want to consider buying a new hose when buying this item.

Quality Replacement Part
This is exactly what I was looking for. Swapped out my broken trigger valve with this one and I am back in business.Very hard to find locally since the Gilmour Spray Doc line is discontinued. In my opinion, they were the best tank sprayers ever made. I'm glad to find it still available on Amazon at a fair price.Going to purchase a few more just to have on hand.

Up and running
The parts came in a timely manner and were easy to install. The sprayer is up and running. It actually appears to be performing better. Go figure! I highly recommend this seller. Thanks!

HANDLE DOES NOT LOCK IN PLACE, I HAD TO ADD SOME EPOXY!!!!!!!
The part and valve work well but the Slip on part of the handle would not stay in place so I had to improve it's stability by epoxying it onto the main part of the valve. The manufacturing could have made this part a little more snap on like the old one was. The old one was a little hard to get off, but that was better than one that the handle would come loose each time that I used it...

great replacement
I was able to install this replacement valve in just a few minutes. The original valve has o-rings that deteriorate and I have not found a rebuild kit for them, and over-the counter o-rings just don't fit. This is an inexpensive solution to get your sprayer working like new again.

Works with 1/2" OD hoses
Most of the replacements I have seen only work with thin wall hoses. I have an old Olympic sprayer with 1/2" OD hose - this was perfect. One quick hint - when trying to install the hose retainer ring, if you out the threaded front of the sprayer agaist a fixed surface and use an open-end 9/16" wrench to push the retainer ring into place, it is much easier than trying it by hand.
