Get these to make your electronics perform better and last longer.
The media could not be loaded. Excellent solution for heat on many items that usually run hot. Get some thermal pads and these heat sinks and make your electronics last so much longer! It was big enough to cover the unit on this light and is working great! You can feel the heat coming off of it.

Excellent for Cooling an External SSD
I ordered a couple of these because I wanted to keep my Samsung External Solid State Drives cool during heavy read/write usage. I am probably being overly cautious, but I think these drives might last longer if they run cooler. This heat sink is the perfect size for this purpose. One can simply use a couple of rubber bands to hold the drive firmly against the heat sink. In this way the temperature increase of the drive is negligible during use.

Dissipation of Vibration
Heat and vibration are inevitable waste in electricity. This heat sink is for the dissipation of heat. But sometimes the geometry for heat is suitable for vibration too. I purchased this item for the experiment to dissipate vibration of audio equipment and the result is good. Though there must be some caution to use in that purpose. This item itself will not spent away vibration. It only expand the surface area to be dissipated. It should be combined with other items to absorb and dissipate the energy of vibration, I've used the spring spike which isolate the target equipment and absorb and dissipate the energy efficiently.

Good quality sink
I bought one for my LED power block which works for 12 hours a day and got very hot. After attaching this sink which has just right size temp dropped to comfortable warm level, hopefully extending life of my lights.

Nxtop Aluminum Heat Sink Heatsink
Great quality and appearance. Just as pictured.. Nice size for SATA 2.5 SSD on a USB cable that I use for CHIA Plotting. Just use a Velcro strap or a Heavy Rubber band. Lay it on the drive and set it on the table shelf or PC. Yea it might be slower than M.2 / NVME but easier to replace.

Works
It does what it’s supposed to. Replaced a smaller heat sink with less fins with this one and it worked great.

Nxtop Aluminum Heat Sink Heatsink
I bought this heat sink to be used in a non traditional way. I'm heating an enclosure with a thermal electric peltier and I'm using this heat sink to transfer the internal temperature of the enclosure to be measured by sensors on the outside of the enclosure. I painted the surface of the heat sink a special IR absorbing black (emissivity near 1) to accurately measure the temperature by the sensors. The fins are facing inward and the internal temp of the enclosure is warming/cooling the fins of this heat sink. The heat sink works great, nice clean edges (no burrs) on all sides. Would recommend.
