I bought a Roku TV form the grandkids playroom, got the room rearranged, the stand set up and then the TV. The TV turns on and just sits there waiting for setup. No go. Nothing. I call Hitachi who says it’s probably the remote but the warehouse is shut down until 2/18. Go to Amazon, order the generic replacement, put in the batteries and IT WORKS!!! Didn’t have to repackage the tv, drive 70 miles and start all over. Well worth the money. (55R82 remote). BUY IT!

This worked right out of the box with no programming. It replaced our old worn out remote,

Does not work for 65R80. Put batteries in as described, pointed at TV and NOTHING.
