Insanely strong and sticky.
These strips are an exact fit, and they're INSANELY sticky. They are every bit as strong as the original Apple adhesive. The opening wheel is nice and thin. It cuts through the old adhesive without scratching the paint on the back of the screen glass. The opening tool comes with several extra wheels, which is a nice touch.I opened my iMac without difficulty using the opening wheel and used these adhesive strips to reassemble it. They strips fit perfectly and made a very, very strong seal. There was absolutely no possibility of the screen coming loose on its own.Several days later I needed to reopen the iMac to replace a failed component. Cutting through these adhesive strips was a real chore. It took three times as long to slice through these strips as it took to cut through the original adhesive strips installed by Apple. There's no doubt in my mind that these strips would have held the screen in place for longer than the iMac would have lasted. It's also interesting to note that these strips are identical to the adhesive strips sold by a well-known do-it-yourself repair company. Same packaging. Same manufacturer labels. Identical in every way, except for the much lower price.

Works really well on iMac 27" Late 2014
Bought it for a SS upgrade. It's been a week now, the screen is still on.Some of the comments mentioning screen fell off made me super concerned about the quality of this item. I decided to try it out anyway, because similar comments appear under pretty much every adhesive strips for iMac.There's another single side adhesive between the screen glass bezel and the double sided adhesive, I made a mistake to peal one of them off. It made the gap between the screen and the iMac bigger than the rest sides. I ended up using a Scotch office tape. So far, there's no sign of screen falling apart.I think the key is to make sure that you remove all the original adhesive, do not touch the adhesive on those strips during the installation.

Works as well as more expensive adhesive strips
I fix a lot of iMacs, and adhesive strips are essential. There are lots of more expensive strips out there. Some are terrific, some are more difficult to remove than Apple's originals, and some are inexpensive and don't hold. These are inexpensive, and they hold. They are just exactly what I need when servicing or upgrading an iMac. I recommend them.

Strong and durable adhesive strips for iMac
Worked great. I had to replace the dead spinner drive with an SSD and was dreading taking the screen off and having to retape it down. I didn’t think these thin strips of tape would do the trick but I was completely wrong, it worked like a champ.

Screen fell off
I am an apple certified technician certification and have done many screen replacements and have been fixing computers for 20 years.I used this adhesive and it only lasted a few weeks, resulting in the WHOLE SCREEN FALLING OFF OF THE COMPUTER.Luckily the screen did not break and I know I am super lucky that the iMac even works anymore because the LVDS connector could have ripped off the logic board. Please beware of this product.Stick to apple genuine adhesive 076-00491 you can find it on eBay for ~$15

Holds great, but don't plan on opening again
I used this on my 2012 iMac after putting in dual drives and it was easy to use and held fine. Unfortunately, the adapter I used for the PCIe slot to allow installation of a 2.5" SSD became loose & I had to open it up again. This glue does not let go & I had to use a heat gun (very delicately) to get it open.
