Hasbro My Little Pony Basic Figure Dewdrop Dazzle with Animal Friend

This is my first time buying My Little Pony toys for my daughter, and so I don't "know" the ponies or much about them. No where in the listing did it state that this is quite a small pony. The ponies I remember from growing up were a good 6 inches tall. This is more like 3-4 inches tall, at it's tallest point. It's like a mini pony. It would have been REALLY nice to have this distinction in the description of the item somewhere, as that's not what I thought I was buying!Otherwise, the toy is cute and fine, and I'm sure my daughter will like it. It's just much smaller than I thought it would be.

Got these for Christmas, she loves and adores her other ponies, they have even been washed in the washer!! She will love them!!

I love her concept and color scheme. However, like most toy ponies, her design is a recolor of one of the main six.

Dewdrop Dazzle has IMO, fantastic colors! She really reminds me of the 80's glam-punk; and her duck friend is cute. Not sure about the wagon... It's a little loose around her hoof, but that's better than being too tight.However, Hasbro should figure out a better way to package their pony's hair. Yeah they need to show off their manes, but it was such a trick getting it out of the box! It was taped in the back of the plastic, through some hole, and had some bimbo plastic and cardboard on it. The tail should simply be wrapped around their back leg; like they are in the current McDoanld's toys. Save some plastic and tape, Hasbro. For the mane, I guess that bimbo plastic thing is okay but has too many stitches in it. I didn't need to cut it but it still took some power to get it off.Also, shop around for this. I bought mine off Ebay for $6. Amazon's prices are twice as much as MSRP! You can probably find her in stores for $5 (I just didn't feel like driving around town trying to find her...). Lately, these ponies are small! If you think they are the size of G1 ponies...heh. Maybe less than half? I have a 2005 McDonalds Pinkie Pie bigger than the playful ponies. ;)PS Hasbro: PLEASE print cutie marks on BOTH sides of your ponies!
