Very easy to use & modify
Works really well. It's a little larger than I would like, but that is to be expected & the dimensions are clearly stated. I knew I was going to be changing/rewiring & wanted to avoid soldering. This was the answer. Because of the length of the box & the tight space I was working in, I had to use a regular solder style connector on the other end. What a difference in the time it took to put this together as opposed to the other end I had to solder! Only time will tell if the connections stay secure but it seems well made & I am confident.

Does exactly what is is supposed to do.
This is just what you'd expect. I bought it instead of a more costly break-out board that would have required also buying a cable. In my application, this connector worked perfectly. I would caution, though, if you need to use every pin, then the opening going into the connector may not be big enough, as I only used 2/3rds of them and filled it. Maybe if you use a small enough gauge wire. Either way, I'm happy.

A very neat device when you need to experiment with various DB25 connections. It get a little crowded, but there are lots of connections in a small space.I don't expect to need another, but, would buy this unit again, if needed.

Needed to make a snake from individual cables that also fit Switchcraft 9625 patchbay
I had 60' of Ghost Cable and quickly needed a DB25-DB25 snake for a recording session. Tried the other DB25 screw mount options but this closed version felt much more robust for studio use and I even managed to use the enclosure for some cable relief. The enclosure's size made it tight but does fit in a fully loaded Switchcraft 9625. Not the prettiest as you'd expect with it being 8 individual cables and takes some care to wire it cleanly and keep the grounds shielded but I now have an extremely high quality snake in time for the session. Highly recommended.

Doesn't work for my application
Might work for you, it doesn't for me, I'm going to return it and try a different one
