Brilliant, works well, easy to follow instructions

I brought this thermostat with the intention of helping keep the house warm it won't very well can't complain about it

This thermostat serves the purpose but is let down by having poor wiring terminal connections. They have very little depth which makes it quite difficult to secure the wires firmly and safely particularly when using a multi strand flexible cable. Also the L and N terminals are close together so it is essential that there is no uninsulated wire showing after connecting the power cable.The Instruction Manual leaves many questions unanswered eg it refers to "jumpers" but doesn't tell you where they are and which configuration they are preset at by the manufacturer. Also there is no specification for hysteresis i.e. the temperature at which the stat cuts off in relation to the set point temperature - it is in fact 0.5 degrees and similarly it will cut in again when the temperature falls to 0.5 degrees below the set point temperature.There is no facility for ignoring a programme setting i.e. if you need only one "on" and one "off" setting each day you have to enter the "on" time for five of the available six settings and then enter the "off" time for the sixth setting. If you need the same switching pattern for all seven days of the week you have to repeat this procedure eighteen times!The manual tells you to look for a symbol indicating that the stat has switched on - I can't reproduce the symbol on my keyboard but for illustration assume it is A/B. In fact you are looking for EITHER A or B depending whether you are using the stat to control heating or a cooling device. There is no mention of the indicator lights on the receiver but you soon discover that one indicates "power on" and the other indicates that the "heating" (or cooler) is switched on.Finally, six screws are provided separately - four of one size and two longer ones. As there are two "boxes" to be fixed to the wall, one each for transmitter and receiver, one assumes that the four matching screws are for this purpose and that the two longer ones are for securing the receiver to its box WRONG! The receiver is secured to its box with two of the short screws which means that you choose which size screws you use to fix which box to the wall - I mention this because if you try using the long screws to secure the receiver to its box you will have the devil of a job getting them out again!The staff answering the helpline are very helpful and friendly and provide first class service.

Item received did not operate correctly and, after telephone conversation with supplier, a replacement was sent. The replacement operates as expected and is easy to set up and use. The information sent out with the product is poor but the supplier was very helpful in solving the problem with the original item. One gripe, I had to pay the return postage for an unserviceable product!

It is easy to fit but programmable part works one day but the next is coming on and off when it wants very poor buy

After reading other reviews before I bought this I can only give it 5 stars as it is exactly what I expected.Simple to install, neat unit, low price. But as the other reviewers say, extraordinarily fiddley to program. It takes some planning to do it as it cancels programming mode if no buttons pressed for a few seconds and every temperature change has to be cycled through to change a weekend setting. Other than it has been reliable, (for the month it has been installed)I do plan to change it in the near future for a more user friendly model but for now this is a cheap solution and should pay for itself in a few months. Ideal for anyone needing a wireless control unit who does not regularly need to change program or temperature settings. As I said though, exactly what I expected from other reviews so 5 stars on that basis.
