Missing the best bits but still a worthwhile read
A good leadership book, honest and compelling if a little light on the things you really want to read about. I wish Ant had finished his selection experience and talked about making it into the SBS after all of the effort. I’d like to have learned how he compared the outfit to his other units. Unfortunately this whole chunk of his career is skipped. He also fails to talk about his transition into television. So while I enjoyed his honesty and what he did share, it left so much unsaid that I feel a bit let down. Let’s have a follow up!

not what I expected from a "Special Forces Biography"
Perhaps I misunderstood the genre/intent of the title, I expected a biography of a special forces operator; while the author does mention some of his experiences during his career this is clearly not the focus of the title thus it was aa disappointment to me - gave up and returned it for a refund

A comprehensive (and entirely different than I expected) account of how people can make changes to themselves and tolerate the intolerable.
I had hoped for a few more service examples but, given the author's background, their scarcity is understandable. Very enjoyable and a good reminder of some of the things I enjoyed about my own short service.

Not worth the purchase
Not a good book. More like something from a motivational speaker that a biography of someone’s time in the military.

Easy read but very gripping
Very easy to read but very gripping. I never once lost my attention and the stories got his ideas and points across very well. The book gave a very good insight to a person with a lot of drive, self belief and self awareness. We worth a read.

Good life lessons
Good account from an honest warrior. Learning your weaknesses are actually strengths is a good insight with which to progress your own journey.

Amazing book
This book is amazing. Ant is being real with everything never holding back.He talks about his ups and downs and the lessons he learned and applied to get out of the worst situations.I would love him to talk about more his SBS deployment but i understand that most of it is Classified.Worth every single penny!
