Found the issue.
Needed this for a project truck. I had spark and fuel but it just wouldn’t run. This handy little gem found my issue. The coil was weak. Truck runs and drives now.

HEI is what everyone says to buy but I like this one
So I'm in the market for a spark tester. I was tired of using the spark plug screwdriver method so I wanted to spend money on a real tester. Everyone told me to buy an HEI tester as it was supposedly the best.....but I decided to look at all the offerings and found this to be perhaps better.After using it on a distributor based van, I like it. It worked great and showed a great spark.

Helped quickly identify a spark problem
Hooked up to the end of a plug wire, connected the ground, and discovered I was losing spark to two misfiring cylinders after unloading the parts cannon at everything else. Quick and easy testing with this. Would buy again.

Works as it should
Good for testing spark. Helped me diagnose a bad coil. I recommend this product to anyone.

Loose screw.
Like so many have pointed out. The screw in piece fits so sloppily that the tip can wiggle 1/8 " side to side. Why does the manufacturer continue to make it with such poor tolerance? I assumed the other reviewers just got an old batch. Nope, apparently they intend it to be sloppy and continue to make it that way. Really poor quality!
