Nice kit
Bought two, one for my son and one for me. They will be used on the many camping trips and pack pack hikes with the Scouts. The stainless steel is all new and wrapped in plastic. The cover for a surplus item is in excellent condition and looks brand new. Plan on getting a lot of use from them.Everything fits perfectly together and there are pockets to carry tablets for the stove to heat water for coffee or soup.

Durable kit
Product is as described and is of reasonable quality for the price. The product was shipped quickly and without damage with all of it's contents. Washed before use with no evidence of excessive oil or residue when recieved and no bad taste during use. The condition of the molle bag was very good.

Solid piece of kit for hiking
It might not be widely used in the military any more, but its still a great all in one kit for hiking and camping. The built in, nesting stove, cup and I also got the lid for it makes it a good cooking kit and water purifying station on its own and its honestly not that heavy for what you get. Would I like a titanium version? Yes, but I won't hold my breath or shell out a few hundred bucks for one!

Great for Camping
Love it! I’ve used the set twice with solo camping it works great! It worked well on the coals and on the individual packable burner! The bag was not sewn together well but they replace it without even asking! Great job for customer service.

It's good gear.
It's good stuff, stainless as described.Took me a minute to figure out how it stacks which is..Reverse order;StoveCup lid (inverted)CupCanteenThe carry case is quality. It's a little weird to me after using the US Army canteen setup for so long.I like the case the least, I may try to see if it all fits into a more traditional one.

Yes!
Very worth it!! I actually picked this up as a replacement to one of my plastic ones, didnt wanna spend the money on the pathfinder one just yet. It doesn't mix match very well with my other canteen stands and cups so its definitely its own little system. In fact, my two canteens i retained from service dont fit in this one's cup either. It will boil water just fine. I used a little camp burner to test it out after reading the Qs. Just make sure you remove the cap completely (screw holds it to the chain lanyard); and dont fill it completely leave some room for water expansion during the boiling process so it doesnt bubble out. Great purchase!!

Its o.k....
Everything was fine until I noticed that one of the button snaps were not connected to the bag. I bad to use a carabiners to secure on my belt since I do a lot of hiking for work. I was kind upset seeing that I spent nearly $50 for this. Unfortunately I had to except it because I needed it for work. Otherwise its fine.

Good quality, versatile
The nice thing about Stainless Steel is, one can boil water in it and not worry about it melting (like aluminum can). It’s not the lightest way to carry water, but between the canteen and accompanying cup-thingy it can double as a small mess kit or be used for camp meals.
