My friend referred this to me. Now I use it everyday.I used to use ordinary sea salt or Himalayan powder salt to cook. I didn't know that such salt existed. It is exactly what I need to be able to put various herbs that are beneficial to human health in edible salt to make our daily diet more nutritious and delicious!

Herbamare has been the seasoned salt of choice in my family for decades. To be honest, I seldom use plain salt at the table, just for cooking.The old Trocomare had a little red pepper added, which altered the flavor profile a bit but didn't add heat. A Vogel replaced Trocomare with the first version of Spicy Sea Salt, which had a perceptible bit of spiciness but was still fairly mild. This newest version has taken the heat a little bit further. Still it doesn't take over a dish the way cayenne would. And it adds far more than saltiness and a little mild heat - nice complex flavors happening.Insanely good on anything starchy - pasta, potatoes, popcorn... My favorite popcorn trick is to brown the butter, and sprinkle with Herbamare Spicy. Wonderful on vegetables or eggs too, or on poultry with some fresh herbs. Also a good addition to sauces & dressings that might call for salt - again it adds complexity rather than just saltiness.

It’s very small, but it lasts a long time! The taste is different than regular salt and makes food taste better :) It is not too salty, it’s perfect for a salad or cucumbers with lemon. A little goes a long way

I've been using this for many years on many foods. I enjoy the added flavor and it's very light, not too overwhelming.

This is truly a great spice mix, one of the best I use. I have been buying this for years. The cardboard container it comes in is it’s Achilles heel. It is very difficult to open the lid. I have a lot of spices and A. Vogel is the only one as far as I know who has this awful design. My latest purchase had faulty lids and leaked. Please change the design of the container!

I used to buy this salt at Whole Foods, but then it disappeared from the shelves. I was so happy to find it on Amazon. My favorite salt.

This is delicious on everything and I will never use regular salt again!

Delicious product ! Way too expensive for $14.99 but I can’t get it in my area. Don’t be fooled it’s not a two pack. I read the reviews and understood this before I purchased.
