The Divine Comedy: The Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso (A New Translation into English Blank Verse)

A wonderful classic, well written and well conceived. Certainly not a light read by any stretch. Recommended for a more adult or a more mature audience. Any lover of classic literature will appreciate this book.

A timeless classic. My dad read this to me when I was a boy and I lost the book; this is an exact replacement. The Dore pictures are fascinating.

I love the illustrations. A friend of mine in Cuba is a very talented tattoo artist. I gave his a copy of this book and he uses it as a teacher for his own art. I have had many copies of The Divine Comedy over 50 years. It is so full of "meanings" that are lost in history. The Divine Comedy demands attention and gives back far more than what the reader brings to the work itself. Beatrice :) Owning this book pushes me to know more about everything.
