SimpleShotAxiom Ocularis Slingshot with Clay Ammo, Target, and Two Bands for Professional Hunting Target Marksmanship Shooting

I love this slingshot, worth every penny, lightweight, easy to use, very sturdy, with the right bands it has some serious power. And just the right size. The slingshot is the one that got me into slingshots and collecting them.

First off I love almost everything Simpleshot. They make superior products and for a decent price. I got this and was very accurate from the beginning. It is super comfortable to hold and shoot. It comes with numerous accessories and is very well built. I absolutely love the way the bands install. No need for tools, just push the plug in and you’re done. The bands are well made. I’m telling you, if you want an unbelievable slingshot for a good price, this is the one. Cannot recommend enough.

Bands break too quickly. Under 300 shots I’ve had 2 snap. I even cut them longer than suggested full power and they are supposed to to last longer at longer lengths

I don't want to kill anything. I just want to stop creatures from hunting under my bird feeder and bothering them and the squirrels I feed. So far so good.I was surprised how small this slingshot is. I have large hands and this unit seems small to me.However the non metal ball ammo sent with the unit is solid. The slingshot will send those ballshot straight and normal for 60 + feet and hit hard on a solid surface. I have to be careful not to hit anything with fur on it because that could do some real damage.Having said that, It will put a very good scare into anything you don't want to hurt. It is silent also.Birds and squirrels all know who feeds them. I have a lot of regulars who don't need to be hunted.Birds who need food are the ones that eat on bird feeders. I found that if I feed the squirrels they stop trying to eat off the bird feeders. Those feeders close off when a squirrel jumps on them. Now they don't keep trying.

Lightweight, clay balls are actually round & fly straight quite far & accurate , unlike other ball brands that were not true & didn’t fly straight. I was surprised at how accurate it is. Very much soAfter Mayb 50-60 shots, Sad to find that the plugs pop out no matter how carefully I insert the rubber plugs & steel ball used to keep plug tightOnly thing I can think is that I pulled to far on band so I’ll work on that. Otherwise, I have a lemon & at $38, it’ll be disappointing to find that it’s a lemon.I like the flat band better than tube bands I’ve used in other models — the flat ones are much smoother & more accurate. TBD upon more use. Mayb I’ll up my review from 3 stars … I hope … for the price, it better work

I'm 55 and this is my first slingshot. The plug assembly made things easy. The leather target is nice (just a little smaller than a tape measure). The clay shot works well and you get alot.Another thing I didn't notice till later since it's not really stated in the add... you can use both flat bands and round bands. At least based upon the plug design that's what it looks like.I actually have a torn rotator cuff and I can feel the pull, which is good because I'll use practice as part of my physical therapy.Overall, I love it, the only suggestion I have is upcharge 5 bucks and include a tube band, and maybe a small amount of bright colored plastic or rubber balls, and some steel shot. Or.maybe some shot in the different sizes.Could almost guarantee, more sales of those after....
