FunkoFirefly Kaylee Frye Reaction Figure

As a big fan of Firefly and having grown up on vintage Star Wars figures and the like, this Kaylee Frye figure makes a great addition to a Funko ReAction or other retro style figure collection. Right off the bat, the likeness to the beautiful actress Jewel Staite is not very good (at all), and that might turn some fans off to the figure (and other ReAction figure offerings). But, that's not the point of these figures, the lack of an accurate likeness is in keeping with the retro style of these figures that are meant to recreate the 3 3/4" figures of the late 70's/early 80's.That style includes the basic 5 points of articulation as well as an overall simplistic aesthetic. For collectors expecting or wanting something fully articulated and a bigger scale with much more detail and a great likeness, Funko has their Legacy Collection line. Otherwise, this Kaylee ReAction figure and her accessory delivers on what it's supposed to and brings us back to the charm of the figures from back in the day. For those collectors who are into that, I'd definitely recommend it.A note on her wrench accessory, her hands can't hold it very well. It can be placed in either hand, but there's not much of a grip and it will easily fall out with movement. On a side note, I got it from Katana-Collectibles for only $4.49 with free shipping (arrived fast too). Quite a steal if you ask me and definitely worth picking up at that price.

As a fan it is a trinket to add to my collection, but were it to cost any more, it would not have been worth it. Ehh I love Firefly and Kaylee so I got it but meh on its quality

Figure is okay, my fault for not buying merchandise when it was still fresh. Will look good repairing anything.

I don't see why 3 stars, it has nice packaging and it does work within the context of the reaction figures.. I really like it .

Perfect for any Firefly fan. Kaylee is adorable and lovable and so is her action figure. The wrench accessory is teeny-weeny tiny. I fear it is only a matter of time before it ends up in a vacuum cleaner bag along with many lightsabers and Lego parts.

Figures do not look anything like the person. I mean no likeness at all. I got them just because they are Firefly.
