I've just got into painting miniature figures for a couple of my board games and had watched some YouTube videos on technique etc. Many covered using some form of basing material to finish off the look of the minis.As I'm new to this I just wanted a selection which I could experiment with and this pack seemed a good buy.I'm very happy with the results of my Viking figures which I used the dark green loose grass for plus some tufts of grass purchased separately.After completing the painting/basing for 'Fire & Axe a Viking Saga' I'm now doing the same with the minis in Memoir 44.Loving it!

The little packets are not very large but there’s more than enough to do lots and lots of small models and some medium size models to for the bases. Some of the colours are a little bit bright but that is what I ordered a little goes a long way. I’ve done a whole army bases and still have plenty left over for future well worth the money.
