I'm really disappointed with this mat. I was looking forward to it for a while. I got it today and after opening it I noticed the blue/black is worn off the top and side showing the white underneath. Also the smell is extremely strong and unpleasant which I expected from other reviews that said it needed to be aired out for a few days. I can work with the smell but not how the color is already worn off without even one use. Very unhappy and displeased. - Pictures really don't show it well but there are little worn off marks all over but I tried to show the worst parts. - I am also finding it very hard to get in contact with the seller. - The seller contacted me. I have to send the old mat back to amazon and once they receive it they will refund me. Then I will have to purchase a new mat. . . Such a hassle but I guess we will see what happens.

I don't usually review but I have read several of the other reviews saying that the mat had an odor. I have been looking for a new Yoga mat for a while something that wasn't to wild, yet not boring either. I almost did not purchase because of the other reviews but I loved the design, so I gave it a try. I just received mine and have not had a chance to use it yet but the mat does not have any odor to it and is absolutely beautiful. It has a nice thickness and is exactly what is shown and I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I really, really, wanted to love this mat. It looks cute and the texture is good. But after washing it and airing it outside for one week, the smell of chemicals is so bad that I cannot have it in the house. The manufacturer claims the mat is made of safe materials and it may be. But the post manufacturing process and/or shipping prep has GOT to be toxic. Sadly, had to return.

This yoga mat is gorgeous! I cannot get over the pretty design. Nice and cushy for my sore knees and tail bone. Really like it.The chemical smell is rather strong. I left it outside for two days to sit out, and it still smells a bit. I think with cleaning and airing out, the smell will be fine.I’m giving it 4 stars because the included carry bag is rather chintzy made....the carry strap wSalready broken when it arrived.

It does smell chemically but with some cleaner and lavender oil it’s fine. It’s new, what do you expect lol. But it’s comfortable and beautiful so I love it!Update: A year later its still in perfect condition and I used it everyday :)

its soooo perfect. just a heads up it has a stromg scent since its new. i forgot to let it air out before taking it to my hot yoga class and it was sooo strong!! aha just remember to do this.loved that it came with a bag that had a strap, easy to carry around.

i love the design so much! no strong smell at all, just a little bit and honestly it's not even worth mentioning lol, i just wanted to compare it to other's reviews. it does stick to the floor, does not slip like my old one, but my sweaty hands and feet kinda slip when i change poses today at my first class using it. i wanna use it more and see if it's just because it's brand new. will update this review, but aside from that i like the product, i like the material, the bag it goes into and how nice the design. totally my style :)EDIT: 5 months in and it’s still great, i’m not slipping anymore. It probably was just me lol! Have gotten so many compliments on the design as well. Long enough for all the poses we do in class.

I absolutely love this mat. It's so cushy and perfect for when I need to get down on my hands and knees. A lot of people mentioned a chemical smell when they opened it. It reminded me of the odor of a new memory foam mattress. I set it out upside down (because the smell was strongest on the underside) for a few days and it's gone. This comes with a shoulder carry bag, which I am excited about. The bag feels a little cheap, but it will do until I can find and/or make another.
