will these work on a Mark IV competition? I'm left handed and the stock grip has a huge thumb rest on the left grip that does not work for me.

I'll say yes. On Ruger's website it says they will fit all Mark IV's. They won't fit Mark I, II, III, or 22-45. I have a Mark IV hunter. It came with grips that had finger grooves. I bought these and found them to be much more comfortable.

Do these come with Screws? I know the description says no screws, but this part number from Ruger includes the screws.

This does not come with additional grip screws.

will these fit the standard?

I THINK it will fit the later ones. The earlier ones have the swell to clearance the magazine loading button on the right side of the gripframe. But eventually it was moved to the left side...maybe in '71? All subsequent production of the Mk I/Standards have the swell on the left side of the grip frame, and I think they will fit. Width, grip screw spacing, etc. is all the same. It will have cuts for a bolt stop, magazine release etc. the Standard won't have. My Mk II doesn't have the Mk III/IV style magazine release, but they look good and fit well. So I don't know for sure, but I am 90% convinced they would fit later Standards with no alteration.
