Does the job, a few comments, would buy agaain no problem.
I was worried about it fitting flush to the wall it does this fineI was worried about it being too thivk looking, looks fineI was wooried that he plugs wouldnt go in full depth as it didnt look thick enough, fits fine.Niggles that could be improved on:A.The switches do not have a red flash at the top to signify they are swithed on, you could say youcopuld rely on just looking at the switch itself, but they are slim line and at a quick glance its notas obvious as it could be.B, The cable screwholes are obscured slightly by the moulding, and it the cables are are short it makes it harder to screw as it pushes the screwdriver of the head of the screwNiggles to be taken account of:C. This a wider unit than you original and the wal might have a curve or a bow which prevent flush fittingD. Again the unit is wider if the wall box is not level this will show more with the wider unit

Good product But Installation is Tricky
This is a useful way of converting a double socket to a four way socket. The difficulty is getting the bolts provided to line up with the holes in the metal box. The extra long bolts are too long for the metal box and the standard length bolts are very difficult to line up with the holes. It's best to start by inserting the extra long bolts provided, then when the socket is correctly aligned and the long bolts are lined up with the holes, remove them and insert the shorter bolts while trying not to move the socket.

Good solution to too few sockets but be careful what you plug in
I was a bit nervous about fitting this and converting a double outlet in my kitchen into a quadruple one but, It does have it's own 13 amp fuse and that'll blow if you overdo things for a few seconds. You're not likely to plug four kettles into it and boil them at the same time though! I just make sure I'm not plugging all heavy draw devices into this outlet.I read the reviews which mention the lack of a red 'on' indicating colour on the switch but I really do not see this as a problem. Perhaps it is if your eyes are not so good. One star removed for installation because the screws are not guided like they usually are and this makes it quite hard to get them successfully into the threads in the back box. They just flop around while you're trying to get everything lined up. It is supplied with two normal length screws and two really long ones. Three inches long! I know this will be helpful in some cases but I think that the way the screw holes are designed there's no more distance from their heads to the threads in the back box than with a normal socket.

There are no red dot / markers on the switches to indicate off/on
Just arrived and fitted to replace an existing double outlet in our kitchen . Great product fitted without issue although the screws were a bit too long. Never understand why they can't supply a few options , costs are minimal I'm sure but leads to a better user experience. It seems quite deep compared to a couple of 3 way convertors that I've used so do check if that's of concern. My main issue is that the switch's have no power on Red marker/dots or equivalent to indicate power on. Fortunately in my specific application I wish all devices to remain powered but that may not be the case for all uses. A star removed as a result.

Brilliant conversion unit
This is a brilliant conversion from a single or double socket. I have had a different manufacturers one, and wanted another, alas Amazon no longer stocks that one. So looked hard and long and plumped for this.Pros: come with long and standard screws as required. Individual on/off switches. Terminations big enough for 2 possibly 3 conductors. Termination screws accessible from the top, so no contortions trying to fit it. Fuse protection easily accessible.Looks sturdy and well made.Cons: sticks out from the wall about 12mm.So if thats the only negative point, i would recommend this whole heartedly. Even getting the screws to line up, was not a real problem, fiddly but doable.

Does the job but the switches feel like they are low quality
Be careful to turn off any load BEFORE turning off the switches. They seem quite flimsy and do not appear to be designed to break a load as I saw a quite significant spark when switching off the coffee machine directly from the socket, rather than turning off the machine first. This is likely to quickly degrade the contacts if done often.

It's good. Works. Not too ugly.
Lovely. Fits very easily, yes it sticks out a bit but not really significant. I kinda thought it would be worse. All works well. Switches seem a bit cheap but they'll rarely be flipped so it'll be fine. 5 min job to swap out and it's fused too. What's not to like.

Easy Install
I needed 4 sockets all carrying a light load so no chance of overloading and it was so easy just to take off the existing double and wire in the 4 socket replacement. It sits out a bit from the wall but is not unsightly. Do remember to switch off the power before starting to make the switch from the two socket (or one socket- it works for both).
