Cargill Vital Wheat Gluten - High Protein, Vegan, Low Carb, Kosher (50 LB bag)

The price for this stuff keeps going up, which is disappointing. It really can't be that expensive to create, process, package, and ship. But, this is very high quality. I have been making batches of seitan tonight, and the texture of this stuff is a delight to work with.

It is what I needed. I had to get the large bag since everyone was running out. It is my main source of protein on the vegan-keto diet!

Will buy this until I die or until I get celiacs

I save more $ when buying in bulk. There are three layers to the shipping bag.

We made 3 batches of seitan before realizing there are tiny bugs all in it. They turned out ok but now that i know it's got bugs it's completely useless and will be throwing the rest away. What a waste.

When it came it was ripped, but great product

I am sure this product is fine and will make seitan or whatever application you are purchasing it for, but I wouldn't know. I was promptly refunded for the first bag, but it took several days to find out the second 50 pound bag (yes I needed 100# of wheat gluten) also was undeliverable. I am sure this is not the sellers fault. Have you ever ran around town, buying up all the vital wheat gluten at whole foods, Walmarts, local grocery and health food stores...I have. It is a crazy experience, and the looks you get...Thanks!If you order this off Amazon, which saved me a few days over my purveyor, good luck!
