MustadClassic Special Long Shank Beak Baitholder Hook with 2 Baitholder Barbs

Fishing for fluke w/natural bait or Gulp. Gulp does not slide down the shank w/the barbs. I don't chunk bait w/sizes I use on these J hooks. Maybe tie clam pieces to the shank or bloodworms only.

The hook itself is very good, but being sold and advertised as long shank is false. It is standard shank.

First, these are top quality hooks. True Mustad quality. Bait keeper barbs are good.The only issue (loss of one star) is they really are a bit off color gold. Not something you would notice unless you have them side by side with other brands, but it's just a bit less of the pure gold color.Will the fish notice? Probably not. In fact I'm certain it won't affect my catch numbers. Just something I noticed right away.Certainly worth every penny! If you need them, buy them.

Got the sz 10 for bluegills. They are small but should work good to rip em off there beds.

I love them any fish make a joke and just touch these hooks they are dinner

9 out of 10 hooks are fine. One has no eye. Thanks mustad quality control. That's one less fish I'm catching.
