Wish I had bought this sooner
Easy to use. As long as you make accurate measurements this kit works great. Took me about an hour total to cut the pieces to size and insert the screen material (sold separately) into the frame. Spline was included in this kit.

Nice kits for making screens
I used these to cover 2 windows and 1-2 piece screen door. Not too difficult to measure and cut and they look great.

Good for aquarium covers
Used this to make a cover for my aquarium and it turned out well. Only needed this kit, and mesh netting. The cutting down was the hardest part, but maybe just because I was nervous about measurements and I am not very handy. I just used a little hacksaw and the whole thing took maybe 20 mins. The color can almost pass for black on its own, but it does contrast slightly when next to the black in my tank, looks a little brownish.

Corner connectors need trimming but otherwise good product
I got this kit so that I could make a mesh screen to cover my reef aquarium to keep the fish in and the moths out. All that was needed was a hacksaw to cut the aluminum edges/frame to length, and scissors to cut the mesh screen (sold separately). There is a little roller tool you can buy that will help you push the rubber strip into the frame but I was able to put it together just using a blunt-tipped tool I already had laying around. No "handyman" experience is needed. Putting this together is as simple as cutting your metal pieces to the desired length, connecting them with the supplied corner pieces, then laying your mesh/screen across the frame and pull tight and even as you push the rubber retaining strip into the groove. If you're really anal like me and spend time on the details this will come out looking store-bought, or if you just want to throw something together quickly you could probably do it in about 15-20 mins.My only criticism of the product is that some of the corner pieces that connect each rail together did not fit into the ends of the rails. I had to take a knife and shave away some of the plastic material in order to get those problem pieces to fit.

Good Screen Kit
The Screen Kit met my needs. The corners fit nice and tight.

This kit was fairly easy to put together
This kit was fairly easy to put together. One suggestion, make sure your measurements are correct. We had to take the frame apart and cut it down further, and broke one of the corner pieces partway. It still held together, but but wish I would have known to be a little more careful.

Disappointed
I was so excited to be making a screen in lieu for buying custom ones but this kit DOES NOT come with the pull tabs or springs!?!? What is up with that? Now I have to go to home depot or back on line to finish this process. I will say it was easy cutting the metal to size but that's about all I can say. I though I was getting a kit. I guess that's on me.
