Was a bit apprehensive at paying a fair bit for ‘a broom’ but went with reviews on trust and thank you everyone. It really is a brilliant broom, my expensive upright hoover does not do as good a job that I haven’t used the hoover since having this. Must say I only have tiled floors. But 7 cats and a 5 year old child! I work my arse off keeping everything clean and tidy. This broom does not just sweep pet hair from one place to another. It actually catches every hair and so you have a neat pile to dust pan up!I think it’s one of those products you won’t quite believe reviews on, as I was half expecting to have to send back, but it really is bloody brilliant. Only down side I agree with many other reviews is handle could be more sturdy. Fine for us only using on tiles but on carpet it could likely snap in two quite easily as more force is used. Taping the joints with some tape though will solve this issue easily if you have carpet to clean. Love this broom also as used for catching cob webs so easy in corners and around light fitting.

We bought this to use on our thick carpets which seem to accumulate human & dog/cat hair very quickly.The broom looks good, and works as described - it quickly picks up most of the hair that's stuck on the carpet.The only downside is that the broom comes I'm several pieces which screw together, and these tend to slowly unscrew while you use it. The broom becomes wobbly and needs tightening regularly during use. I'm planning to use duct tape to hold the pieces firmly together.EDIT: The pole bent after only a few uses, making it very hard to use without hurting my back. Would not recommend.

Using this brush was a humbling experience. We have three cats and I hoover daily with our Shark. This thing pulled SO MUCH HAIR out of the carpet and off of our fabric sofa. It was dreadful. I loved it. I now use it every few days and, without fail, it picks up little grey tendrils of dust and fur. The handheld one is especially useful for the sofa and any corners. It feels robust despite being just screwed together. Using it is a little tiring as you have to put some pressure behind it, but I don’t think it would be an issue for the majority of people. I really recommend this one if you are a pet owner with carpets, rugs, or upholstered furniture! Just be prepared for the rollercoaster of emotions it inflicts.

The metal is flimsy so when you need to push to clean a carpet it just buckles. After 3 uses the metal failed and snapped in the middle piece. Don't waste your money.

I bought this broom based on all the feedback already given. It was essential for removing dog hair from the carpet and in that respect it is certainly very good. You can't avoid the physical effort required to use the broom on carpet especially if it has a deep pile and in that is where there is a major fault. The handle comes in 4 parts. Its really not designed to be used for brushing carpet as the pole bends easily at one or more of the joints. This is what happened making it useless, however, as the head was perfectly useable, I simply used a one piece pole from another broom that had the same screw thread size.I don't intend to return it as its working fine with the new pole. I understand why they have to use a pole of that design simply to cut down on packaging and shipment costs but I would be happy to pay more for a one piece broom handle.

I have an industrial vacuum cleaner, kids,cats and a dog. I thought I was doing a good job keeping the hair under control. Enters this rubber broom. It does a way better job at picking up hair stuck in carpet than any vacuum I've ever owned. The results are nothing short of spectacular, the amount of hair I got out in a short amount of time was , albeit disgusting in hindsight, frankly spectacular. The handle, even though it comes in separate parts to assemble , is really sturdy, comes together very easily and doesn't wobble or vone loose as youre using the brush.The short hand brush works just as well. I got 2 more set that same week, now I have one on each floor,a short brush in my car and spare set. I most definitely would recommend this item .

Does the job but the plastics a bit flimsy & unscrews when using

Leider ist der Besen bereits nach vier Wochen kaputt. Bereits nach dem ersten zusammensetzen war er instabil und die einzelnen Teile rutschten auseinander, so dass er beim Fegen entweder in der Mitte mitschwang oder auseinander fiel . Heute dann war ersichtlich, dass das Schraubgewinde innen abbricht. Schade, denn er fegt die Tierhaare sehr zuverlässig und gründlich.
