Working, very economical heat gun.
Working heat gun. Needed it for shrinking some heat shrink tubing and it delivered. A variety of metal nozzles look mildly useful but probably just themselves heat up and deliver a nasty burn, so I didn't bother.I particularly liked that you can set this heat gun down on a surface, on its side, and nothing hot touches that surface.

Very good tool at a good price
After splicing the wires, I put the shrink tubing on and used a heat gun to shrink the shrink tubing. It worked as expected. In a matter of seconds, the shrink tubing shrunk and completely insulated the copper portion of the wire. Two temperature settings, a long enough cord, and a heat gun that can be safely stood upright after use - these are the three best things about this product. And the price is really good :-)

Hard Working Heat Gun!
This little heat gun is great. We had to remove flooring after a flood and the resulting hard glue needed to be removed. At first my husband used a hammer an chisel but that was a hard, slow process. After talking to a neighbor who had a similar situation, he tried using the heat gun. Although using the heat gun didn't make the job a breeze, it made it much easier to remove the stubborn, rock hard glue. We had a different brand heat gun my husband owned for many years but sadly it went along with the flood waters. This little guy was a cost effective replacement that got the job done.

Good value for the price.
Initial use of this product, I thought I would have return it as it smoked a lot after the first few uses and smelled as if it was burning in or around the heating element. I assumed that it was oil and/or debris from the manufacturing plant and might eventually stop so i continued to use it. The smoking did stop and heat gun worked as expected. I'm happy about the 2 year warranty, however, it is getting 4 stars due to the misrepresentation given that it was powerful enough to lite charcoal. I tested that and it does not get hot enough to lite charcoal. Other then that, this was a good purchase for me.

Works Well
I have only used it twice, but it works well. Puts out plenty of heat on both high and low settings. It completed the job quickly for me.

USEFUL for Jewelers, "Yes!"
Inexpensive and wicked useful! I am a jeweler and use this to heat up my holding medium to hold a piece while I set stones. It's much easier than putting the holding medium (Thermolock or my favorite, Polly Plastics pellets) in a cup of heated water and waiting for it to soften.... I try not to consume plastic, and these pellets are completely reusable - and easier than Thermolock to remove the piece when needed. Highly recommend this heat gun. As long as it doesn't break soon (I'll ammend my review if that happens), it's a definite go to for this use. "Yes", to jewelers.
