During a family campout it rained for 2 days and we only got a small amount of water in the tent even thought the site was flooded, very impressive. The tent was easy to set-up quickly but because of all the screen setting up in the rain allowed a bit of water on the inside but once dried it stayed that way. I would recommend this tent to others.

One of the best tents on the market
Love this tent. High quality and tall enough for my 6'4" husband to stand up in! The pockets on the front also provide nice storage for flash lights, etc. This seems to be higher quality than some of the Coleman tents our friends have. Highly recommend this!

barely comfortably fits 1 very tall man
Not a Wenzel issue by any means but this 8 person tent, barely comfortably fits 1 very tall man, 1 normal sized woman, 1 child, and 1 oversized dog. That being said, it is easy to put up and take down. It kept us warm and dry on a cold rainy trip. It provided sufficient ventilation on a warmer trip. It was a good purchase.

Pretty easy to setup and stays dry
The tent was pretty easy to set up with just the two poles for the main tent and 1 for the rain cover. It rained hard on us and the inside of the tent never got wet. I did put a tarp underneath but i don't think it was necessary. my only complaint is that the zipper on the door sticks and breaks. fortunately it is self healing and gets straightened out eventually. It will be a problem in the summer when the bugs are out though. I was able to put a queen and a double air mattress in there and still had a little room for gear.

Great alternative to the blocky cabin tents for a small family.
First of all, we haven't used this in rain or very windy weather yet. I do however expect this to do well. We have also used a tent sealer on the fly, so I'm not sure how it would do out of the boxWhen this tent first arrived, we set it up in the back yard. While we were setting it up, one of the main poles cracked. After a few emails, and having to cut the tent and fly in half, wenzel mailed us a whole new tent. So I can say their customer service is great and they will replace their products if they break. On to the pros and cons of the tent itselfPros--full coverage fly-gear loft included to give extra storage-if you don't use the loft, there is a hook to hang a light-ample guy out points with included guy lines-eough head room to stand up(I'm 6'2")-bathtube floor-front outside pockets suprisingly handy-quite zippers that don't catch on tent body-double door that can be unzipped and rolled out of the way while still having mesh for ventingCons-awning is part of rain fly with third pole, no rain fly? No awning-no vents in fly-plan on replacing stakes(almost every tent you purchase)-fibreglass polesAll in all an awesome tent, especially for the price. I've already sourced some stronger alluminum poles I'm planning to purchase soon. We also are using a blue tarp from Walmart to use as a footprint for now. My wife and I have really enjoyed this tent so far.

Love this tent!
Love it. Easy to put up, a ton of room, and the pockets on the outside are awesome. We upgraded from a 2 person tent to this one and it feels like camping in a palace. Would not take it on a backpacking trip but for car camping, heck yeah!My one comment is maybe get some seam sealer because the floor gets a bit damp even if you put it on a tarp. I'm not sure if that's due to condensation or leaky seams.

Weather resistant!!!
Just got done taking our 2 little ones camping for the first time. We ended up with severe thunderstorms with high winds and about 3 inches of rain. The tent stayed right where i placed it and we were completly dry in the am. My only complaint was that our air mattress (which is about 6 years old and not included ) went flat about half way through the night. It was a long night but we stayed dry and in place.

Weather proof and Very big and roomy inside
Love love love this tent !!! It is BIG ! Walk around in it and even run a small propane heater . GREAT rain guard that goes all the way down !! If you tent camp , then you know how important a good rain guard is. 3out of the 4 walls of the tent are screen , so the air circulation is AWESOME! With the rain guard going all the way down to ground your completely weather proof . Bought a second one just in case we can’t find one again
