The stories are lovely but require an adult for reading them out to the kid.

Arrived much sooner than expected which was great. Book also in great condition for being second hand. My son just turned 5 so still needs help reading but this book will be perfect. The length of stories in the book are just right too, perfect for bedtime stories

Good Stories for children

Short and creative stories ! Big print !

My kids love these stories! We listen to them on the way to school and on family trips. They ask lots of questions about the stories which increases their knowledge of story structure, listening comprehension and vocabulary. We have bought several of these cd's at various age levels and they enjoy all the stories. The English story narrators are professionally trained and use a range of voices. I must caution about two stories on the cd for six year olds, one about a captured fox and the other about a little girl who can talk to animals. In both stories, these characters are threatened to be killed, although it doesn't happen. They would not have been my first choice as stories to include on a children's cd, but I guess these tales are not very different from the events in many fairy tales we grew up with! Excellent product for the price!
