Marshall 4090939 Mode Wired in Ear Headphone with Mic (Black/White)

If you are not an audiophile, either Google and understand what is the approach of an audiophile or just choose something like JBL or Sony or akg etc.For the remaining audiophile crowd, this is a safe tried and tested option. Obviously a 20k IEM will sound better than this. But if you are not that crazy about audio, the Marshall Mode earphones are probably the best option in this budget range.The cable, clip and 3.5 Jack quality is great. Braided cable would be better but this does the job just fine. The earphones themselves are beautifully built. The "m" logo is of high quality.Sound quality of this product is where it shines. A bit bass inclined sound profile. For hip hop and EDM i use the default setting with probably a bit of bass boost. It gives the bass if you ask for it. And it gives pretty punchy bass too. For all other genres I use the flat or bass reducer eq in Spotify and flat eq for external tidal files. I suggest to use these with a DAC dongle. The sounds of all frequencies are crisp. I didn't know such clean seperation of beats are possible at this price bracket. You could place each instrument on the stage exactly as they were (like you were a sound detective recreating the crime scene).These earphones made me fall in love with my older songs all over again. I have a pair of wf-1000xm4 earbuds. They are great sounding TWS buds for 16k. At 4k these earphones sound as punchy(bass) or better(flat eq).Few reviews mention low quality and left earbud not working. Out of the box, my pair are perfect. I will update later if I face the same problem. But I feel like it's mostly a seller issue. Because Marshall QA/QC is normally meticulous.In short just go for it. If you are not an audiophile, you will become one. If you are an audiophile, you will appreciate the performance per rupee that these earphones deliver.

Awesome in-ear headphones. They sound better than any other I've had and the fit is perfect for my ears. I didn't feel any strain wearing these for over an hour. I'm sure to enjoy music with these for a long time.I bought these after I lost my pair of Smile Jamaica earphones by House of Marley which were nice and was skeptical about spending substantially more on these. Now I don't regret my decision because the sound quality is definitely better, plus the fit and quality as well.Update 1: After using for some time my only quibble is that the wires have some memory, and they don't come out straight when taken out from a pouch.Update 2: Two years of having them as a member of my EDC they are aging and I may have to look for a replacement. The quality of the cable is the only problem with these earphones. As can be seen in the new picture, the skin is splitting and exposing the inner wiring. Though they still sound the same, I kept them aside to prevent more damage till I can fix the skin (which I hope to, by braiding as I have done on the lower side).I am a person looking for things that last a lifetime & don't cost a life. Well that's too high a bar for the world we live in today. So these are great earphones if you are not expecting them to last that long. And I down grade them to 4* for the build quality.Update 3:Fully braided, they are now great to go for a couple more years. Still sound great. My daughter and my niece have a pair each of their own.

I've been using Marshalls for a long time, and these are my trusted travel earphones. They've been incredibly durable - my last pair worked for months even when a small kink in the cord exposed the underlying wiring, and even then I lost the pair before they died on me. Moreover, the audio clarity is fantastic, and the clip-on is surprisingly sturdy.It's pricey, but in my experience, it's outlasted atleast 4 cheaper headphones I'd have usually bought, thus ending up costing the same over a longer period of time.

The earphones stopped working after 1 month of purchase. The audio slowly stopped on one earpiece. And gradually decreased on the other. I want replacement or my money back.

The quality of Marshall earphone was excellent when I started using it but somehow within five months of purchase, sound stopped coming from the left ear. I don't know if this was just an isolated defective piece or whether the seller sent an old product. Since the product was under warranty, I contacted Amazon customer care who asked me to take up the matter directly with the manufacturer. I was not expecting much but the Marshall guys were super helpful and actually quite proactive in their communication. They first tried for a replacement, but due to lack of availability of an alternative they issued me a full refund which was a pleasant surprise. 5 stars to customer service of Marshall!

It’s a pretty good price of hardware, I’m using this over a month, and the sound quality is impressive. It’s not a audiophile device, but close.No one should really tweak the audio balancer anymore, this is 2021. Sounds are tuned already the way one needs to listen.Set it on flat and listen to it, this headphone will deliver.The fit seemed out of place when I saw it here, but it’s good seal.
