3M PF12.5W9 Privacy Filter for 12.5-inch Widescreen Laptop (Black)

Execellent Privacy Filter. However, it should have been the one which can be taken off on need basis. At present, once removed, it cannot be stuck back, till the new set of sticking tapes are ordered again. It also leaves a sticking residue on the screen, which has to be cleared before sticking it back, else the residue marks will obstruct viewing. The sticking tapes, although clear and transparent, are cleary differentiable when the filter is on and is at times misleading, as one can easily mistake it for a scroll bar.

I am very disappointed with this product. As per this product advertisement, i.e. video by 3M; this film remains firmly with the screen. However, in my case, it is falling very often. In addition to the above-mentioned in the video, it has mentioned that there is a folder, which is being supplied by 3M, the same can be used to store the film. However, I have not received this folder with my delivery.

The product is good , as expected but the stickability is an issue.It just does not hold on to the computer . Had to fix with other tapes.

The privacy filter has following issues..1. It doesn't do the intended function but only darkens the screen.2. The requested size is 14 inches but received 15 inches filter3. The sticky tapes provided are useless and do not do their intended function...

Cant remove it. I am worried that it will damage the LCD. Also the privacy is not as expected. People can see it from angle especially at higher brightness/at night.

The privacy film has started to wear off within 2 months of purchase. Also, doesn't prevent prying eyes sitting besides you to take a peek-a-boo. This product is not eligible for return as well, and there is no warranty for it. So unless you don't mind splurging 3k every two months to only to prevent people with binocular vision, please don't buy it.

I wanted to give zero stars but not possible.worst privacy filter ever .doesent hide your contents even at 170 degrees ..just dims the display a little bit . Not recommended

Original 3M product with intact seal and contents. No questions on quality. The privacy filter does it's job pretty well. My only grouse is it reduces the quality of my 13inch 1080p (full HD) laptop screen. And am not sure if there are any Full HD screen compatible 3M filters!

The best privacy filter ever to keep your content to yourself. Dual sided so can flip around for the classic black look if you do not wish to attract attention.Be wary of the screen though when not in use. If bent or manhandled the plastic film will lift off the edges easily; though this is a common issue with most privacy films and I have seen it happen with other brands too.

Absolutely excellent

Beim Surface Laptop 3 passte der Blickschutzfilter gut, aber der Touchscreen ist nur nach starkem Drücken funktional. Desweiteren störte ein Flimmern der horizontalen Fensterrahmen in Windows10. Keine Ahnung ob das aber mglw. eine Standard-Erscheinung bei den Filtern ist. Störte mich dann doch.Da der Filter anscheinend aufgrund der Touchfunktion recht nah am Bildschrim ist bildete er dort Blasen wenn man den Laptop wieder aufklappt.Die Anbringung mit den Klebestreifen funktioniert zwar, aber wie vom Hersteller vorgeschlagen: Schmutz abwaschen und dann lang weiterverwenden scheint mir eher Theorie zu sein. Filter geht zurück.

Es un filtro muy fácil de usar y muy útil. Hice varias pruebas y funciona como se espera, ya que la pantalla queda totalmente en negro a menos que se esté justo detrás de la computadora, en cualquier otro ángulo no es visible. Sin embargo, si el brillo de la pantalla está al máximo o cercano a este es posible ver la pantalla a pesar de no estar justo detrás de la misma.De ahí en fuera funciona como se espera.

El producto bloquea el contenido del monitor desde ciertos ángulos, pero la instalación es decepcionante. Lo instalé en mi Surface Pro usando las tiras adhesivas incluidas como indican las instrucciones. Sin embargo, ya instalado, algunas partes del protector que tocan el cristal de la computadora forman burbujas que son visibles y molestas al usar el monitor. Intenté instalarlo un par de veces más, pero de ninguna forma logro que deje de "adherirse" creando esas burbujas que comento. Vale la pena decir que soy un usuario experimentado instalando protectores de computadoras y celulares (sin burbujas ni ningún otro contratiempo), así que en mi opinión el producto no está bien pensado para una instalación adecuada
