Diamond Side Design Embosser by Patchwork Cutters.This is a special Patchwork Cutter / Embosser developed by Marion Frost. She has also produced several books on how to use the cutters and embossers to create beautiful cake designs.This Embosser creates a design that is approximately 4-1/4 x 2-3/4 inches (10.5 x 7 cm). Patchwork Cutters are beautifully detailed shallow cutters that work best for embossing designs into rolled fondant icing or creating cut-out decorations using thinly rolled Mexican Paste or very firm gumpaste. Mexican Paste works best for cut-outs. Needs practice before using it on the real thing!
Good effect but quite hard to position properly and would probably suit deeper cakes than the one I was using it on, however with a bit of practice it makes a nice design and the little twiddly bits were easy to pull off and use to create your own style. I'm only an occasional baker of fancy cakes (family & friends special celebrations) but can see me using this again in the future.

Embossers for diamond pattern on cakes
Quite happy with the item, not had chance to use it yet but it is the one I requested and arrived quite promptly too.
