contains basic classes, tips and tricks, step-by-step photos and lot more. get it !

It's a good book no doubt. Well explained with pictures. But it doesn't say anything on drawing patterns independently. It explains the usage of ready made patterns and alterations using the same. I doubt if we have those things available in India. Rest the book is great.

I think it is a good book. It also gives you information on using a sewing machine for your work.

Good book

I liked the book very much. I found it very helpful as it gave me a lot of new ideas.

Pretty hard to cover all aspects of sewing but this one comes close. Just looking through it I found some great tips. I do most of my sewing in the winter so when I start back there’s quite a few gaps and I’m sure this book will cover them. I have lots of sewing books and this is the best one in the library. If you’re wondering what to get someone who sews this would be a great gift. Came when promised, in new condition.

I saw it at my local book store and I just had to have it! Obviously I’m gonna go for the better deal and Amazon had it on sale!I’m new to sewing. So, I skimmed it there and once I got it I couldn’t wait to keep reading it. Fascinated by the detail in this book and about different fabrics and sewing tools. Patterns and such are more for a video than a book especially if your a visual learner like I am. But awesome book overall!

The chapters are organized very well. In the entire book there are pictures to help visualize what is explained.
