The Time Garden

Good! Has minute details in most of the pages. On some pages the images are repeatitive with close-ups of a portion from a previous page. The paper quality is good for colouring (I use staedtler colour pencils).Received with crumpled cover. Though, the functionality remains intact (colouring).

I have been using this product for over a year now. While it is a good stress buster, it may be a bit too much to handle for those who are new to the concept of adult colouring books. It is a bit expensive too

The art illustration work is very beautiful... but paper quality is the worst...so thin n it makes cheap looking... water color, magic pen even some jelly pen r not possible to be drawn on it...it's pity...

Nice big book....

I liked the finish of the book. The graphics range from easy to color pages to slightly more complex pieces of art. I also loved the paper - it lends itself to not just pencils, but also to watercolors (just a light wash, though). I was a little apprehensive at first since there were some negative reviews as well, but I found this worth the money I spent. I'd certainly buy more of Daria's art books.

I brought this book at full price for my personal collection. I colour purely as a hobby, one that I put an incredible amount of time and effort in to.This is a beautiful book by Daria Song and is the first in her "Time" series, at the time of posting she currently has 3 books available; The Time Garden, The Time Chamber and The Night Voyage. It is approximately 25cm x 25cm. The same as the rest of the books in this series.This book aswel as illustrations contains a small story of a girl who has an adventure chasing after a fairy she sees through a cuckoo clock.All the illustrations relate to this story, as it is a continuous story, almost every illustration is a double page spread and the single page illustrations usually connect in some way to each other. There are 68 pages of illustrations, 4 of which contain a few sentences of text, usually in the middle of the page and 2 that are almost entirely text with small illustrations. All the illustrations are printed double sided, using alcohol markers stains the next page. However I had no problems with gel pens or fineliners. The paper itself is non perforated, on the higher end of medium quality with a slightly textured surface. I used a mix of Marco Raffines and Polychromos for most of the illustrations I've completed and found that i was able to layer and blend with no problems.Almost every illustration either goes in to the spine or sits incredibly close to it. I found the spine to be very tight but the book itself is very bendy and the spine with some careful pushing will sit almost entirely flat.A few images also contain suggestions to add your own artwork. Examples of this are: " draw your own room through the window" and "create your own bakery."I own all three of Daria's books and each one is so detailed, intricately beautiful with great paper.If you do have issues with blank spaces and drawings incredibly close to the spine I'd highly advise you looking through pictures/YouTube reviews so you're not disappointed or frustrated. Overall it's a beautiful whimsical book.

This book is like no other I have coloured. Stunning book containing intricate patterns, good quality paper and fine liners / markers wont bleed through the page unless you are really heavy handed (you will probably want some fine liners as some of the details are so intricate!)It takes a while to complete a picture, so if you dont like detail this probably isnt for you, but if so it will provide hours of fun!

It's a pretty book but I've not touched it yer cos it has so many "busy" can't be arsed patterns that don't make sense and words on the page fibbing instructions to finish the page .... that's not my kind of book but I'm sure many others would love this
