Swim team
If you ever swam on a team then you probably seen or used this swiss style goggles. Speedo just repacked the exact style goggles that have been around for ever. If you are not swimming laps this is probably not the set you want. They are not the most comfortable. They come in pieces and you have to put them together to fit your head and face. There's tricks to setting them up like twisting the eye sockets to make the nose bridge shorter then you put the strap on so it isn't twisted and that's all the adjustments that you ever do. Want a real set of competitive swimming goggles. This is them if you want a comfortable set of goggles for your backyard, pool or swimming. Recreationally find something else. This is a decent price for two sets the iridium tinted are for backstrokers and the blue is for the rest of your strokes butterfly, breast, free. Speedo nailed it by releasing rebranding repackaging the classics. This set is just like you would remember if you ever bought Swiss goggles before.

I swam competitively in high school, and so I've been aware these goggles existed for some time. As a teen, I was too afraid to try these because I thought they would have the same kind of suction as my other goggles, and without padding, my eye sockets would be killing me after every practice.I had been using the Speedo Sengar goggles for a while because they came with the flexible solid nose piece which was fused to each lens, and they had a low profile. While I was on a forced swimming hiatus, Speedo did a pretty stupid thing and discontinued this style. Previously, I swam outdoors, and my Sengars were tinted with mirrored lenses. I now must swim indoors because it's too cold to swim outdoors year round where I live. My Sengars were too dark for the indoor pool. I bought some Vanquishers. They fogged up like crazy even when I spit in them; they leaked fairly badly, and the seals wouldn't stay on the lenses; they put too much pressure on my eyes and hurt at the end of my swim (2 miles).Because the new product wasn't exactly working out, I decided I would give these a shot. If they didn't work out, I wouldn't be out too much for a pair of goggles. Teenage me was dead wrong and an idiot for not having a more open mind. The suction is just right. I don't feel any pressure on my eyeballs. They never leak unless I adjust them incorrectly. Like any goggle with anti-fog claims, the standard anti-fog stuff wears off soon. Spitting in them keeps me fog free for my entire workout, and anybody who thinks that's too gross to be worth it is not a real swimmer. They stay on when I dive in to start my workout. I like to keep times on a mile, a 500, and a 50, and so staying on for the dive is great. I've been using these for a week now, and I can't sing their praises enough. Those who give the product a low rating for requiring assembly are unjustified in doing so for two reasons: 1) assembly is required because these were meant to be a custom fit, and 2) assembly requires a manual dexterity that's just a step above my three year old. Those who complain that there is no padding on the goggles are illiterate or blind. The picture clearly shows that the padding is not there, and the description of what comes with the goggles does not include padding.

Awful product
You must assemble the goggles yourself with no instructions and pieces that i still do not recognize for swim goggles. Could not assemble much less use. Do not buy.

classic Swedish goggles, they work.
What can I say? I swam competitively years ago and these were the only goggles I tried that ever worked acceptably for me. Any other type would need to be cinched painfully tight to not leak or come off completely when starting off the blocks. These ones, despite having no gaskets at all, actually seal well and are very comfortable. I decided that since I live right near a pool now I might as well start swimming again, so I obviously searched for the goggles that had worked for me in the past and was glad to see that they are still made (although my old ones, which I can't find - and the strap is probably rotted to heck if I could - were brown smoked, which doesn't seem to be an option today - although the blue mirrored ones I got seem to be about the same darkness, and supposedly offer UV protection which is nice if you do backstroke) and sure enough they worked just like I remembered them.So why four stars? I got these, adjusted them to fit my face, and headed over to the pool. I was in the pool for maybe 30-40 minutes or so, got out, went over to deck chair, tossed goggles on gym bag. When I looked down, only a few minutes later, I could see that inside the goggles there was some kind of transparent coating that was already peeling off, like paint that you've hit with paint stripper. I assume that this was the "anti-fog" coating. When I rinsed them under the sink it all came off, so it's not the end of the universe - they'll still function fine. But if you're expecting these to be actually "anti-fog" they won't be - apparently the first time you get pool water inside the lenses, it's done for. No big deal though, just spit in them and smear it around with your thumbs, or rub some nose grease on the insides like we used to do before all this fancy "anti-fog" stuff.Even so, these are still the only goggles I've ever tried that I like, and until someone makes a really compelling case that I should try something else, I'll probably keep wearing these, and buy another pair of the same whenever I lose or break them.
