Not essential for jewelry making, but saves time on polishing your jewelry pieces, especially if your volume is high.

Q: Can this be used to polish rocks (the final step after they come out of a rock tumbler)? I'm looking for a rock mirror shine.

Yes, you can absolutely use it between rock tumbling steps! It works like a dream.

Q: How much of the mixed solution should I use with 5 lbs of SS shot?

I use this in my tumbler... After I put my items in and make sure water is an inch above the shot. .I literally put 3 drops or so in. Works perfectly... Shiney jewelry

Q: Is this appropriate to use in a magnetic tumbler?

Yes, I have used it on all of my jewelry cleaning machines including magnetism
