How precise/small is the spot over distance? On my generic level, at 40 feet away, the "spot" is a useless, inch-wide blob.

I just checked it at over 40 feet. It's as clear and pinpoint as it is at 5 feet, no degradation of precision.

Does this have at least a magnetic mount? I want to use it for automotive graphics work.
