The Claw C-101 Earth Anchoring System

Worth every penny. I've been using a mobile home style screw stake to secure lightweight sailboats (catamarans) to the ground when stored, mast up, in bad weather or extended (unattended) periods. The screw style stake required a lot of physical energy, was difficult to place under a boat already in place, and usually left a blemish on the grass if it happened to be a nice grassy area. This thing installs in seconds with no fuss and removes just as easily. I recently used it on one of my boats that was left lakeside for a week during a really windy week. Upon returning at the peak of the windstorm, the anchor was performing flawlessly and was definitely keeping the boat from moving/flipping. I'm quite sure this will not work on a sandy beach and I'll still need to keep my long ground screws packed for those occasions but this product has increased my sailing and socializing time. Great product.

I bought the set of 3 of these and use them for outdoor art shows, to hold down my tent. When I saw that I could buy just the one to complete the set I immediately bought it. When these are in the ground and attached to my tent I don't worry about the wind taking it away. In a really bad storm nothing much can save a tent but I feel like these things do a great job. The stakes go in at an angle so they don't pull out easily at all. The kit comes with a hammer which is necessary to both drive the stakes in as well as pull them out. That's why they're good for holding down an airplane I suppose!

I bought these to anchor both sides of a hammock stand from Tensa Outdoors when used with an Amok Draumr hammock. Orange screws and boom stakes can work fine, but if you have the space/weight allowance - these truly inspire confidence especially when used in varying terrain (the stakes are the heavy part, the claws themselves less so). I have found the stakes easy to hammer in, and easy to remove. Have used in the pictured setup several times. Note that you would need to order two to use in the fashion I have.

I regret not looking closer at reviews. Others have also only received 1 claw with three spikes which I would consider one unit. But at most is 4 pieces not 11. I will try this one unit, rather than wait 14 days after the sender receives the returned unit to see my purchase price returned to my payment method. If the Product performs very well or exceeds my expectations, actually 1200 lbs. of holding power, I may update and increase my rating. On the other hand if it breaks or falls apart at lighter loads, I will not hesitate to remove my one star, and return the item for refund.

This is the second one I bought because I stupidly ran over the first one with my 3/4T truck. While there was only minor damage to the center hook, I didn't want to risk her not having full range of motion with it. This is an outstanding tie down. My dog is 70# and very strong. I've never worried with her on it and the swivel action gives her a full 360 degrees around the yard. I use 3 different lengths of cable based on location restrictions. Very pleased!

Product name states 11-piece; product description says 11-Piece System includes: 1-Carry bag, 2 anchors, 6 spikes, hammer, 2 straps. However, only 1 anchor and 3 spikes. However, it really only included 1 anchor and 3 spikes.

Awesome device - especially for the money. it just works - enough said. I have purchased multiples of these now. You just can't beat what this device does for being under $30 (at least when I bought it). I use this to anchor a post that I use with my hammock when I only have one tree to work with. I use a 6"x6" timber that I have added a hook to. Works beautifully.

We use this to tie our Lab when camping, and it works amazing. We added a 1ft bungee lead between the nylon 30ft lead and the Claw in case SQUIRREL
