Wnda3100 Rangemax Dual Band Wireless-N Usb 2.0 Adaptr

This is currently my second adapter in less than two years. I purchased an identical new one to replace my slightly broken one. The speeds are phenomenal, in comparison to my previous Netgear adapter from 2006. It connects to my house's wi-fi with ease and retains a strong, powerful connection throughout the whole house.That being said, the quality control on these is awful though, after nearly two years of continuous usage, making sure to take care in removing the adapter from USB ports, my first router started to get fidgety and flimsy and would only work if propped a certain way (the struggle is very real if you've ever been there.) I imagine there's some loose glue or a loose connection somewhere. This grew very frustrating for me and my younger teenage sister, as we share one wireless adapter on two computers, so I ordered another one and it shipped pretty quick.As for the new one: works great, with no struggle, as it should. Performs on a nice level as most modern wi-fi adapters do. I managed to find a way to keep my old one in working condition. It sits stationary on top of my computer tower plugged into a USB hub, propped a certain way so that it retains connection. All in all this product represents a great value in wireless wi-fi adapters but beware, moderate to heavy usage daily will deem this USB DOA after a year or two.

This works but does lose connection to my modem/router, sometimes in the middle of doing something online, more often than I'd expect it to. Not sure if it's this or Comcast changing settings that affect it, but it's annoying. Plus it doesn't reconnect automatically - I have to either type in the password or use WPS, which is really tempremental (sp?) on this device.

This device really must only be for occasional laptop use, because it gets really hot if left on a desktop for extended periods of time. Occasionally I would need to unplug it just to cool it off. I owned it for only a few months. I had internet problems during this time but I figured out it was due to my service provider. Unfortunately, once I got a better ISP, this item ceased to function, so I never really got to use it to its fullest extent. Too bad.

Easy to get going in a school setting.

The Netgear WNDA3100 sold by BERRYSRUS was a fantastic deal. Great price with prompt service. The 3100 linked up with my Netgear wireless router in under 5 min. Perfect connection in 2.4ghz and 5ghz. I couldn't have asked for better. I will definitely look for this seller first.

Sad to say that I don't believe that this stick does any thang noticed no difference in signal strength I know I paid less than the average sticker price there may be a problem internally now I know why it was a return because it does not work

The range max worked out perfectly, I get signal all through my house and outside and the signal is still strong. Best product I've purchased in a while
