I've never read any of Inio Asano's works, although I've heard of one which is very popular: Oyasumi Punpun, which is hella depressing according to readers. So, this is my first time reading his manga and right at the start, I must say his artstyle is one of the prettiest I've seen till date. I think Inio Asano is the only mangaka who uses real life backgrounds and draws over it to make the environment look realistic, which I think is a unique feature in his works. As for the story, I didn't like it very much as one of the problems I noticed was that the characters acted more mature compared to how they look. **Minor SPOILER!** The protagonist and the "love interest" take part in an intercourse which, when you watch it makes you feel like you're watching something illegal because they look like they're 12 years of age. Although, there's one thing I like about this book: it's the way how environments are used to portray different emotions between characters, which I think is very tastefully done. Overall, a really cool book especially the art. Would recommend.

Condition of the book is awesome.I am a big fan of Inio Asano’s works.According to me the story of Solanin is better than this book.It is just my personal opinion.And remember this manga is not for kids.

Never read a more messed up work......be aware this is going to leave you depressed and shocked.

The book is a size of a normal manga volume though I expected it to be a bit larger. The paper quality is also poor compared to VIZ signature editions but it has a nice and durable cover. As for the story it can throw someone people off due to the many Intercourse scenes which involves teenagers and story slow paced from the beginning but at the end one would say a satisfying end.
