This 55-210mm is a must-have if you need a budget-friendly telephoto lens for your Sony APS-C camera! I use it on my a6700, and it delivers great sharpness and reach in a very portable package. The internal autofocus is completely silent, which is a huge plus when I'm recording video, and the built-in optical stabilization is a lifesaver for handheld shots zoomed all the way in to 210mm. It does need good light due to the f/6.3 aperture at the long end, but for outdoor shooting, travel, and casual wildlife, it’s an unbeatable value.

It is a great lens for beginners, good for portrait, wildlife and animal photography for small distances, oss is also good. Retains sharpness after cropping. However due to aperture low light photography can be difficult (eg in cloudy weather).

This is a good option for someone who has just begun his journey with a camera. Zoom range is good, Autofocus is impressive, also has inbuilt OIS. Does the job pretty well. If u are looking forward to portraits, sports or wildlife, this is a very good option to begin with. Don't expect some professional level sharpness however. The sharpness is okay, not excellent.

Occasional photo or video sessions outdoor, people, birds or animals.This lens has stood test of time, what a nifty product from Sony. It's in the name that provides a sense of security and assurance.Picture quality for landscapes is by the best in this and one range above. Sharpness is to be desired, hey this costs 5 times less than your premium ones so no complaints.Video works best for static or using tools like stands, wrenches or gimbal. Keeping steady shot is tough when zoomed in. OSS works best on pictures though.

t was truly one of the best lenses and cameras I’ve ever owned—exceptional in quality, capturing stunningly sharp images with vibrant colors and incredible detail. Whether it was for travel, portraits, or everyday moments, it never failed to deliver professional-level results. Unfortunately, the saddest part is that I lost it, and with it, a piece of my creative journey. It’s not just the loss of a device, but of a companion that helped me preserve so many meaningful memories.

Excellent product

The lens performs well on Sony ZV-E10 full frame cameras. You get the advantage of cutting out some of the weaknesses in the corners, getting a larger telephoto equivalent, as well as getting more depth of field, making it a little easier to actually focus on the subject. The low f stop is a weakness, in lower light the lens starts to struggle a bit, which is true of many telephoto lenses. This is ok up to around sunset, when things start to get noisy.

Getting Nice shot from far distance

Uso questo obiettivo montato su Sony A6000 e lo porto con me in situazioni molto diverse — natura, ritratti, soggetti lontani, un po' di tutto. È esattamente il tipo di ottica che ti aspetti di avere sempre in borsa come secondo obiettivo dopo il kit 16-50mm.La qualità delle immagini è ottima: nitide, stabili, con una resa del bokeh piacevole grazie al diaframma a 7 lamelle circolare. Lo stabilizzatore OSS fa il suo lavoro in modo silenzioso ed efficace, specialmente a 210 mm dove la mano ferma è praticamente impossibile. Le due lenti ED riducono sensibilmente le aberrazioni cromatiche anche ai bordi dell'inquadratura.È leggero, compatto e non appesantisce la borsa. Per un'ottica tele di questa fascia di prezzo su sistema E-Mount, il rapporto qualità/prezzo è difficile da battere.Unica nota: come tutti i tele con apertura f/6.3 al massimo dello zoom, in condizioni di bassa luce bisogna alzare gli ISO. Non è un difetto di questo obiettivo in particolare, è semplicemente la fisica delle ottiche tele economiche — meglio saperlo prima.Consigliato a chiunque abbia una Sony APS-C E-Mount e cerchi un tele affidabile senza spendere cifre importanti. 🎯

Great lens for the money.

Fantastic lens for the price. I nearly didn’t purchase due to YouTube reviews and had the much more expensive G Series 70-350 in my basket. Then I remembered these guys are professional photographers and I am not. I’m not going to be punching into photographs to assess corner sharpness and I’d wager neither are you. If you want a pleasing photograph to show friends and family, save yourself half a grand and get this. I’ve spent the morning bribing wildlife with nuts to pose for me and I’ve been very impressed with the results. The examples I’ve posted have been cropped and exposure adjusted. The pictures came out sharp and the autofocus was quick enough to capture those spontaneous animal behaviours. The lens is small and light for a telephoto, but feels durable enough to sling in a bag and be ready for an impromptu photoshoot without the need to baby it. Cheaper glass has its benefits in that respect. As I learn and grow as a photographer, I may upgrade - but as someone starting out this is a brilliant bit of kit and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to try a telephoto lens.

Un objetivo muy bueno teniendo en cuenta su precio, en mi caso 149 euros. Nítido y con estabilización óptica. Me encanta.
