when I was buying Sony Alpha 6400, I was confused to buy with kit lens or to go with the Sigma's lenses. So, after all of comparison from a month,I found this to be reasonable and worth having it. So, got it by reading the reviews on Amazon and now to be very honest. It's way better than kit lens as well as any other Sony add on lenses.You'll get fine bokeh, a get better low-light performance. One thing is missing is the optical image stabilization, it is only our down part of this lens otherwise this lens is way better than all of the lenses present in the market right now for Sony Alpha series crop sensor.Star for1 star - for Bokeh1 star- low light performance1 star - value for money1 star - focus is butter smooth1 star- perfection in all, all rounderDeduction1star - for Optical image stabilization1 star- poor packaging of Amazon.(it's a glass item of around 33k but Amazon sent me this in a polybag

The media could not be loaded. If you are a content creator taking talking head videos then this is the one for you. Make no mistake this is just the best lens for content creators. The autofocus is great and quick. Functions just like it is intended and it is really a value for money product. Feels professional and well made in the hand. Even after being bulky and heavy the lens feel well gripped in the hands and canera during use. Using this in my camera setup with my sony zv e10 M2

The definition of SHARP.
Best purchase ever. I bought it at a lower price when it was in short supply. And has been my main lens ever since.Focal length: The viewing angle with an APS-C camera would be quite wide and this makes the 16mm focal length perfect for indoor use. This lens will also be great for landscape photography, environmental portraits and experimental photography.Background blur: The fast aperture allows you to really isolate your subject at close distances. Bokeh is smooth and creamy. Helps you get that pseudo full-frame look.Low light: The performance is outstanding in low light as it has a large max. aperture, plus light transmission through the lens is good. See 4th image.Resolution: Sharpness at apertures over F2.0 is just mind-numbing.Macro capabilities: The lens has a short minimum focus distance which allows you to get extremely close to your subject. And since the lens is ridiculously sharp you can always crop the image to achieve a "macro" effect. See uploaded images. See 5th and 6th image.Size and weight: It is large and heavy in comparison to the tiny kit lens of Sony APS-C cameras, and makes an A6XXX body front heavy.There is no alternative in the Sony APS-C mirrorless system for this lens. Just go for it. If the weight is not an issue, you will be extremely happy with this lens.
