Arrived in perfect condition on east coast all the way from the west coast! Set up was a snap using 30 gallon bags that we already had and so far, operation is flawless. We were fortunate to find two cans in a size that fit the space we had for trash and recycling in what was otherwise, a useless spot, perfect solution! Well Recommended...........

I love not having to press a pedal or use my hands to open. Wish kid parts were available though…with small kids around won’t last long and the kid replacement in its entirety only part you can get and it costs as much as buying a new one. If use carefully generally will last 3 to 4 years. This is my 3rd one and to me worth replacing that often.

One of my itouchless trash cans was broken recently, so I ordered a replacement (I've had them about 3 or 4 years)- I love them. I still have 1 working one, but ordered a second. The new one came in and it's taller- by about an inch, maybe 2. The sensor is less sensitive and takes more effort to get it to open automatically- my biggest complaint for sure because I loved how well the original design worked. The reaction time is way better on my older can. Otherwise it works- just a bit annoying to get it to open when you're hands are full and you have to wait longer for it to react.

I like my product. I would have chosen the product that is one up from this one, but a reviewer stated that every time she got near the trash can, it would open. Well, this one is like that - but you have to get even closer. Since my trash is in my laundry room (I live in an apartment so consider it a very large closet) it opens. However, when I just want to use the trash and not grab anything from the laundry room, it will open specifically for the trash. Therefore, in short - it only opens when I need to reach over it to grab something - however, it opens when it needs to open. So, if I am or if you are going to need the space that you are planning on placing this product on a regular basis, like doing the laundry - then just move the trash out of the work area until you have completed your task.In a sense, there are no cons regarding this product. An automatic sensor will sense you and your presence. So, just accommodate your self and your life with ways so not to use up the battery by having the door open each and every time you walk by (unless you plug it in, and even then it will become a bother, trust me!). I simply move the trash from the laundry room into an area in my dinette area where I do not walk, and I have it facing the wall so not to be automatically "disturbed" enough to open.

I’m using a 13 gallon kitchen bag but I’m only able to put in 3/4 of the amount of garbage as I did in my last LED garbage can. Spend the extra 10 bucks it’s worth its
