I dropped it in my pond and it began working right away. After three weeks I am now able to put my fish in the pond that in the past it took lots longer. Yeah!!!

I started using MicrobeLift’s cellulose enzyme packets as part of the autumn and winter care kit in my koi pond. I was so impressed by how clear they kept the water that I tried using Spring/Summer Cleaner during the warm months, alongside MicrobeLife PL. Wow, it makes my water sparkle!These enzymes won’t get rid of algae, but they do digest the small particles of dead algae from my UV clarifier and help further clarify the water. They also rapidly break down fish waste, so it’s mostly gone within a couple of days. It even helped quickly eliminate foaming after a spawn.Unlike other MicrobeLift products, these packets have no odor. Instead of dropping them in, I prefer to hold them in the stream of water from my filter inlet and let the packets dissolve open and the contents circulate, then I discard the melting packet “wrapper.”

The media could not be loaded.  Microbe-Lift has been in my pond since Day 1, that was over 20 years ago!Spring/Summer Cleaner application is just ONE tool of a few that any pond owner should use throughout the year.IMO, Microbe-Lift’s Sludge Away, Barley Extract, PL Beneficial Bacteria and AlgAway 5.4 should be at everyone’s pondside; along with a quality Water Chemical Test Kit.The only deviation of that list is sometimes I use API Algae Treatment… just to save a few bucks, and I know it works great too.

This product helps to keep down pond algae, but it takes time to be effective.

This bacteria breaks down solids in pond water, including dead algae and leafs, over the fall, winter and spring. When I open my pond, I can simply pump most everything out and start fresh. My fish, plants and anything that drinks the water are a-okay. Unlike other bacterial products, it doesn’t have a godawful smell. Follow the instructions, and you’re good to go.

I use a combination of MICROBE-LIFT products to keep my pond water clear and healthy. This product works great. I do have to use a net to remove the bag once it releases the material, though. I noticed it sitting on the bottom of the pond even a week after putting it in there. It was starting to grow some kind of gross film. It’s easy to get the bag out, though.

I have put this in my tank for 3 weeks. My tank is so clean. I can’t believe it. Recommend it.

Disappointing.We have a 250-300 gallon waterlily and fish pond, so used one sachet, as directed by the instructions on the box for an '80 to 500 gallon' pond. I put it in my waterlily/goldfish pond on May 9th, 2024. May 10th, 202. It was better but still a little cloudy, yet not dirty cloudy. I get up next day, (May 11th), to a crystal clear pond that didn't stink like a swamp, (because it DID stink like a swamp before). However, by the end of the day, it was already becoming less clear and the "microbes" were just sitting on the bottom, seemingly doing nothing at all.Third photo shows the pond on May 12th, 2024. It is again green and cloudy. After the initial apparent success, I was expecting it to last a bit more than three days! On the box, it says once a week for four weeks, leaving four days until the next treatment. We have fish in our pond, so it can't wait a further four days with dirty water. We ended up filtering by pumping out the dirty water and refilling with clean, which was a hassle that should not have been necessary if this stuff worked as described.We will not be using this product again, and have ordered a small sand filter instead to make filtering the water less of a hassle.

A great improvement to my pond

I have been using this product for years. Helps kick start the pond in early spring. No measuring, I toss 2 packets into the pond and it's that easy. Great price

The bags were torn upon delivery. Now I'm guessing the amount to put in the pond. So far I haven't seen any significant improvements in the water either.
