⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Audio Quality – A Huge Upgrade!
The DJI Mic 3 is worth every penny. The value for money is excellent considering the premium sound quality, build quality, and features you get. Setup couldn’t be easier – I had everything connected and ready to record within minutes. One of my favourite features is how simple the Bluetooth connection is. Just press a button and it connects almost instantly to your device, making it quick and hassle-free to start recording. The connectivity options are brilliant too. You can attach the transmitter using the built-in clip, the strong magnetic mount, or connect it in several different ways depending on your filming setup, making it incredibly versatile for content creators. The audio quality is outstanding. Compared to the internal microphones on my camera and phone, the difference is night and day. Wind noise is dramatically reduced, you also have x4 dead cats to cover the microphone to help reduce wind noise to a minimum and there’s also a dedicated background noise reduction button that does an excellent job of cutting out unwanted sounds in busy or noisy environments. On top of that, there are three different voice enhancement settings that help your voice sound even clearer and more professional. The inclusion of 32-bit float recording is another huge advantage. It gives you peace of mind when recording because it captures an incredible dynamic range, making it much easier to recover audio that’s too loud or too quiet during editing. Battery life has been excellent and easily lasts through long recording sessions, while the charging case keeps everything powered up and ready to go. The whole system feels incredibly well built, with a premium, solid design that inspires confidence. If you’re ready to take your audio to the next level, I highly recommend the DJI Mic 3. Whether you’re filming YouTube videos, vlogs, interviews, or social media content, this microphone is an outstanding investment and one of the best upgrades you can make.

It does it ALL!
I bought this with high hopes. I wasn’t disappointed. As a part-time content creator and videographer, I have used every generation of wireless microphones on the market. Upgrading to the DJI Mic 3 has completely transformed my workflow, primarily due to its incredible reliability and unparalleled internal backup capabilities. It really is the top-tier product when it comes to wireless microphones. You really cannot get a more customisable mic setup than this. The added features really ARE unparalleled. It is easily a 5-star product that sets a new industry benchmark, though it does feature one baffling design omission that traditional shooters need to know about. Here is my highly comprehensive, real-world breakdown of the DJI Mic 3 after weeks of heavy field testing. The Game Changers: Why It Deserves 5 Stars 1. 32-Bit Float Internal Recording is a Safety Net. The single greatest feature of the DJI Mic 3 is the addition of onboard 32-bit float internal recording. If you shoot weddings, live events, or street interviews, you know how unpredictable audio can be. A guest shouting into the mic or a sudden burst of laughter used to mean permanently clipped, ruined audio. With 32-bit float, clipping is a thing of the past. If the audio peaks and distorts in my camera, I can simply pull the internal backup file from the transmitter into my editing software, lower the gain, and recover the pristine, unclipped wave perfectly. This feature alone justifies the upgrade price. 2. Exceptional Range and Signal Stability. DJI’s updated transmission technology is phenomenal. I tested the line-of-sight range in a busy urban park congested with competing Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signals. Even at a distance where the subject was a tiny speck in the frame, the audio remained rock-solid without a single dropout or stutter. 3. Intuitive Touchscreen & EcosystemThe charging case is rugged and instantly pairs the components the second you flip the lid open. The receiver's vibrant touchscreen is incredibly responsive, making it effortless to adjust individual transmitter gains, switch between Mono/Stereo/Safety tracks, and monitor battery life on the fly. 4. Magnetic Mounting System. The physical design of the transmitters is highly versatile. The combination of the heavy-duty clothing clip and the ultra-strong magnet allows you to mount the microphone discreetly on thin shirts, jackets, or lanyard straps without sagging. Or switch to the included clips, which are rotatable. The One Slight Disappointment: No External Lav Mic Port. Despite this system being an absolute powerhouse, DJI made one controversial design choice that almost breaks an otherwise flawless streak: the transmitters completely lack a 3.5mm input jack for an external wired lavalier microphone. If you are a creator who prefers to hide a traditional, tiny wired lavalier cable under a suit jacket while clipping the transmitter box to a belt or putting it in a pocket, you cannot do that here. You are forced to use the transmitter box itself as the microphone. While the box is incredibly lightweight and looks sleek, it is still a visible square clipped to your subject's collar. For high-end corporate video work or narrative filmmaking where the microphone absolutely must be completely invisible to the audience, this omission is a notable step backward from previous generations. Beyond the safety net of 32-bit float, the raw sonic performance of this system is next-level. DJI introduced a Lossless Audio feature that transmits completely uncompressed, high-fidelity audio directly from the transmitter to the receiver. The clarity is pristine, but what really saves me hours in post-production is the built-in Voice EQ system. It offers three distinct vocal tone presets: Regular for natural daily dialogue, Rich to boost lower frequencies and eliminate muddy speech, and Bright to enhance high-end clarity. Paired with an incredibly effective two-level active noise cancelling engine and Adaptive Gain Control that dynamically balances volume spikes, you get radio-ready broadcast vocals right out of the camera. Add in the massive 400-metre transmission range with dual-band 2.4/5GHz anti-interference frequency hopping, and this ecosystem completely outclasses the competition. Although I can’t understand why you’d be so far away for any such recordings. There is also the feature to turn this kit into a quadrophonic recording device, which being honest I don’t know a lot about. This powerhouse is capable of a LOT of recording! I’ve even been able to set this up as a stereo ASMR recording device, which just shows you how versatile and sensitive these mics are. The only negative(s) the lack of lav port and the DJI design emblazoned even more prominently on the transmitters. That’s easily rectified. For me, these mics are capable of it all (if we ignore the no lav port). You’ll love it if you’re an audiophile. You’ll love it if you’re a tech geek. You’ll… just love it.

Perfect For Social Media Content!
These are by far the best wireless microphones on the market, a bit on the pricey side but very worth it. Connection is super easy and works flawlessly, it’s easy to wear and attach a with magnets or clips and the sound improvement on videos has gained me so much more confidence and views! Battery lasts ages too! Very versatile.

DJI: Mic 3 (2 TX + 1 RX + Charging Case)
I have been looking for a better wireless microphone system for my setup for a while. I needed something that has good clarity and decent noise cancelling, which, after watching many videos, the Mic 3 seems to tick those boxes. My decision was finalised when I found out how versatile it is; I can connect it to all the devices I use to record footage: my phone, my Sony camera, and both my DJI Action 5 Pro and Pocket 3. Connecting them is very simple, and you can either adjust settings through the receiver unit or by connecting them to your phone and going through the app. The quality is genuinely very good, and so is the battery life. I really like the charging case, which holds everything neatly together. Additional cables are kept in the included travel bag.

Awesome product! highly recommended
it's so good, i know some people may have some comment on sound quality over proper traditional body packs, (also the latency is a common situation on 2.4ghz devices) the internal recording is a bliss to work with, the magnets are very strong. i especially enjoyed the 4 channel recording directly into my camera (with the adapter) it's just a plesant to use and deploy, especially we can get so creative with hiding it. i wish they can come with the magnets that has no DJI logo on it. (i had to paint them)

Awesome little Mics!
Amazing! Two mics which work straight out of the box (providing you update the firmware) each time you take them out the case, they work straight away without the need to do anything aside from place them where you need. The magnetic clips and included dead cats are a welcome addition and serve to make these little mics extremely versatile.

Avoid at all costs
Total garbage . Wish I had checked trust pilot first to see how bad they are ranked. DJI works so hard to not help you when you have a problem. They will go to extreme lengths to stop you returning a faulty item. The customer service is all AI and copy and paste. Thank goodness I bought it through Amazon. Over priced products with zero customer service . Buyers beware .

I'm in love with this mic
I am blown away by the DJI Mic 3. This is my first ever microphone that I've invested in and I am so happy I went with this. I film in my small apartment which has a wall AC and air purifier that you can hear blasting through any mic. The noise cancellation feature built directly into the mic is a game and life changer. It auto manages those insanely loud background noises with ease. It's like it was edited by a professional except I didn't do any work apart from ensuring the noise cancellation mode is on. What a dream. For the quality it brings, it is incredibly compact, portable, and surprisingly light weight with all the accessories in the pouch. Super easy to store in bags. It's compatible with my mirrorless camera, smart phone, and other DJI products that I have. The built-in features is incredibly versatile, meaning, there's a lot it can help you with audio-wise. It feels high quality and made well, like I'm proud to own one and wear on my chest. Only thing is that the DJI logo on the mic is pretty prominent--more conspicuous than its mini counterpart. But I've found that since it works so well, I don't mind wearing the brand loud and proud. Again, I'm in love with this mic. If you're on the fence about getting it, don't be. This is the mic you should settle on. Also, the learning curve was not too steep. Make sure you download the corresponding app to get all the instructional videos. Once you've played around with it and watched the videos, it becomes rather intuitive to use.

Great for talking in noisy environments
The lossless 32bit mode has an 80m limit, but the audio quality is quite good. With the noise filter set to max, one may have to up the gain of both lavaliere mics to +12dB for soft spoken users on live stream. The DJI Mic 3 does no longer include the $30 thunderbolt adapter for prior iPhone 13. However, the receiver does work well with the free Blackmagic video recording app (set output to local media.) Overall, the case does mount both Mics as drives to access the wav files, but the RX unit must be directly plugged into a USB-C cable to load as a audio Mic input. Overall, with the wind bubble it sounds reasonable at +12dB gain indoors with heavy noise cancellation, and is very directional. Cuts computer Fan noise and HVAC in the nxt room to absolute quiet. DJI did a good job on this model (pull from dock auto-record is super convenient), and I may grab another pair if they hold up more than a year. The sleep/timeout features should be OFF by default for most use-cases. =)
