友人のドットが郊外に引っ越したので、サミー、メリッサ、ホリーの3人はニューイヤーイブをドットの家で過ごすために、自転車で向かった。そこでは、開拓時代から続く二つの家の確執があったり、放火があったり、招かれたパーティーで宿敵ヒザーに会ったり、盛りだくさんの事件が次々に起こります。痛快とは言えませんが、意地悪だった警官が今回は手助けしてくれたり、サミーはいろいろと経験し、もちろん十分に楽しませてくれます。

Wonderful book series for kids.

Wow! I was reading it far a report and got totally hooked! I like how it's really funny, but intense at the same time. I completely understand how Sammy feels about drinking, drugs, guys and Lucinda. I LOVED IT!!!

My son (11)has several books and loves the whole series. It is great to find a book your kids want to read.
